Gone are the days when I used to go to shows on the back of my friend Bennett's motorcycle, but they sure were fun.

the torch in Tibet thing is just rude any way you look at it.
On one level, it could reasonably be said that the city did a brilliant job of keeping people from getting hurt, and there's a real sense that that's what cities should do. And on the other hand, yeesh. Wotta mess.
i am sure there will be demos, but it is whether they are filmed and got out. I can't believe they are taking the torch up Everest

... the chinese gov't got exactly what they wanted, they got video of smiling people waving flags and no protesters anywhere in sight to mar their video feeds back home. i hope that after the olympic games are over, people won't forget....
