Jerry's topic.
Jerry's topic.
I was starting to write a reply in speculation of info about these videos and thought, let me google what I know and see what I find! JACKPOT!
Indeed they are both from the same event as Jerry is looking identical in both videos.
Here is the full scoop below! Looks like something I will for sure purchase on DVD! It seems this video is out there everywhere as it is a new release so, buy it from where you wish to give your money. I was going to include the Amazon link, but there are other places to purchase it from too.
Simply Google: Caliente y Picante: A Latino Session
and you will find it at many online retailers.

Happy Birthday Jerry-
You changed the course and purpose of my life , through the places your guitar tool me to, and the raw emotion of your imperfect but yet heartfelt vocals. I will always remember the way you would take all my troubles away, re-energize me, and send me back out to the mean old world outside the tour.
Peace and love to all my fellow Deadheads
Words can't even begin to describe how much I miss you. Seeing the Grateful Dead for the first time back in '89 was something that has forever changed so many aspects of my life for the better, and I will always be eternally grateful. What a long, strange trip it is indeed.
Thank you Jerry for a REAL good time!
Peace
Thank you for the gift of your music & spirit.. It is , was, and will always be one of the most important, mind blowing, life changing aspects of my life. I am so lucky to have seen you perform , and be THERE ....& i (we) are all so lucky to have the music for everyone to discover, and dance to forever...there will always be those who "GET" it. ...the wheel is turning...............................Gratefully.

Long Live Jerry Garcia!!!!
Lossless
There's a banjo moon in a tie dyed sky
Hippies dance and babies cry
Church bells ring as a silver haired angel looks down
And the blood of his music
runs through the veins of our guitars
Bright lights, dark star.
from Patchwork Quilt by Warren Haynes
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
Walt Whitman-Song of Myself
A dozen years and a million miles
here we find ourselves, you and I
and the tide and tax of it all remains
But with each night and brightness next
the hope contained will not be shed
over the mere persistence of space between
The show is over as true as oceans depth
covers the nakedness our rock beholds, yet
even sunken treasure still sounds so sweet
Giving a shout out to the man and his music on the anniversary of his departure from this world Till we meet gain Thanks for showing me the light
