hey there I am lookingfor someone who might be planning on going to the whole dead tour, and wants a tag along! Of course I will share gas etc. I am in between jobs and am thinking this tour might be a calling to go have some fun.

Riders wanted from SF Bay to Tour

Marico Mobley is going to take his motor home out from San Francisco and wants a couple of riders. Marico is the “Meat on a Stick guy from the late 80’s, early 90’s, that had the white “Mobley” bus. Nice guy. He doesn’t have a computer, but he is going to be at the show at Ashkenaz in Berkeley this Thursday 2-5-9. Good music, 9PM. Or you can call him at (415)374-5950.
Is this the best place to post this?

I am picking up an SUV at Buffalo Airport on April 21st and seeing 6 shows in 8 days ending in East Ruherford. Heading back to Buffalo Airport on the 29th. Anyone need a ride or want to share the gas?

before this gets completely out of hand--yes, we're all happy and excited about going on tour. But please be aware that everyone in the whole world (at least those with computer access) can read these posts, and it is probably not so prudent to post offers to be someone's 420 buddy. Just sayin'. I expect the DEA has better things to do than to troll here for easy pickings, but ya never know. Thanks.

Agreed Mayre, Anyone Going From Chitown to Cali?

I've decided that no matter what I'm going home to Cali for the Shoreline shows...last place I saw Jerry. Is anyone driving? Would love to make a few stops along the way and see some old friends too. Ever been to the Four Corners? Or a cabin just outside of North Tahoe (Truckee)? We've got months to plan this, so, why not ride the bus with kind people?

Spring Tour 2009

Hey everybody, I am looking to hook up with folks who want to do the entire tour, or just part(s) of it, and get a ride share/caravan thing going. Anyone set on going to the shows but unsure of how you are getting there we should connect. I am looking to explore all options. As of know I see three:

1) Finding some kind family with a bus or other large vehicle who wishes to take on some riders for the entire tour
2) Renting a vehicle such as an RV or something
3) Hitching to Greensboro then figuring it out.

As of now I am seriously considering renting an RV if anyone is into that idea, or if someone has a school bus and wants to pack in some riders, that would be sweet. One way or another I am doing this tour, so if anyone wants to connect and discuss transportation options drop me a line at pyrorite@gmail.com
