    In the shop having the carpet ripped out and replaced with Geo's donated magic carpet ride carpet (so they'll be no more breakdowns for the rest of the tour). Thanks GEO! OK, take it away boys...(play on)

    Amazing show. Got to the parking lot late (about 6:15), my son had to work in the morning and a friend that was coming was running a little late also, plus I took a wrong turn that cost us about an extra half hour or so. So, unfortunately I missed shakedown completely and a chance to see the Sherriff and Jambo. But all things considered I had a great time. We at least got set up on the lawn (a decent spot) before the band came out so I didn't miss a note of the music. My review: The band was spot on, they just keep getting better and tighter as they continue to play together. Oteil's China Doll was stellar, setlist off the charts. Love me some wheel after space, oh yeah! John channeled Jerry a few times, plus his own style shown through as he shredded the old tunes. Other special moments worthy of mention, Jeff's piano solo on Eyes; Viola Lee Blues and Black Muddy River were really nice.

    flat tires, running out of gas, detours, busted radiators, burns busts bummers and ripoffs, man, you'll be happy to hear that this here dus comes equipped with a magic carpet. I had a nice carpet that was purchased in the lot at Shoreline back in '89, found it handy at Cal Expo that night it rained and flooded out Shakedown, and kept it ever since. We all met up with the Kurtster last year, and Richie and Hikealike added the carpet to ba dus just after the traffic jam at Deer Creek. It's a slick little add-on, and Sarge endorsed too. Said carpet can fix any tire, repair any hoses, fill-up your tank and even comes equipped with a mirror, razor blade and straw, should you ever need to use said implements to re-fill that hard to reach spot on the rear hydraulic system's left manifold transistor flux capacitating rainbow gatherer. Speaking from experience, that's damn hard to do at night in the rain. Klang, grab your handy 50th FTW flashlight and look under the empty Krispy Creame donut box just behind seat 42, there's a latch keyhole that your SYF pin fits in. Turn pin counterclockwise, pop off cover and unroll carpet. Hop on. The rest happens naturally. Who are Dead & Company, and why do they keep following us? Someone Just Posted on C.O.T. that soldier field parking passes were being sold on the Soldier Field website today. Just in case anyone is in need. I have to get to work, I'll check it out if I have time. Edit: I just tried, but don't have enough time to navigate website,..little Ben clock says quarter to six,.. I gotta get down to the mine. Mr. Mayor , I think it would be way cool to see if the DD could find each other in Ca. Does anyone else feel this way? Long lost brothers and sisters of another Mother meeting for the first time. I know it will be a push but start the bus cause I riding to the last stop

...about a meet and greet. I will start checking around the area for a place we can do a beforehand something or other. Most likely informal I would presume. Let me think on it and start looking. Maybe as mayor I can form a sub committee and delegate to get some local (or more local) help. I am 2 1/2 hours away and haven't been to Levi's yet so I'm not too familiar with what's around there. I have been to Great America amusement park many years ago (before there was a Levi's) and it is right next door. There should be someplace close by, plus I have a hotel room 1 mi. away. I also fly in Sat. and it a long way from Beantown to Ca but I been sleeping an extra 10 mins each night cause no sleeping on this bus , well ok you can pass out but we will take care of you my brothers and sisters

Yes that is from A recently released Whole album In hebrew under the name promised land, and free listening tracks if you google search. It's funny cuz some of the city's In some of the songs are changed to actual towns in isreal.aiko aiko Oy vey!!

YEAH BABY !!! Now, close that bathroom window :-) Thank you, brotha - now the week is officially underway !!!! And the three men I admired most, the father, son & the holy ghost, they caught the last train for the coast... Heard that amazing tune again yesterday - amazing how after not hearing a song for years and years, you remember EVERY word. Incredible music and lyrics put together there regarding "the day the music died." And again, I digress... Happy Monday gang !!!

I'll see that bourbon and raise you a Patron. Lake Ontario breeze here in Roc town, just as fine as Erie, makes for a beautiful bicycle ride to the coal mine. Tulips busting out all over along with magnolias, cherry blossoms, and the lilacs are just peeking out, whooo hooo, summer in WNY!!!! pass that coffee please, will go with a wonderful Tiramisu for after lunch, gotta have the girlfriend stop or I'll be napping like Kurt....
