    ...my ear to hear the TUNE,

    1992-05-31 Sam Boyd Silver Bowl, U.N.L.V. ( 9 shows into experimenting with the NEW in-ear monitors) and my, oh my, how the harmonizing has jumped to a NEW LEVEL...such an enjoyable "ATTICS". have a great day EVERYONE!

    And closed my EYES to see...

    ...GO! new tour begins TODAY...1992! motivation provided by Dave and the past couple weeks TAPERS SECTION... begins with a split show:
    shoreline 5/24/set 1 SHAKEDOWN and
    cal expo 5/19 set 2 THE ENCORES remember "we have some new TOYS ( in-ear monitors) up here and we're learning how to play with them"...
    choices, choices, and more choices BUT this tour has to go THRU, at a minimum, Vegas, Oakland, Deer Creek, and Chicago...

    don't tell me this town ain't got no heart, when I can hear it beat out loud!

    I finished listening to Daves 32 earlier on - 3/24/73. And that 3rd cd - featuring "He's Gone - Truckin'-Jam-Dark Star - Sing Me Back Home" is transcendent!

From a podcast of Deadshow of the month I recorded about 15 years ago. No break between tracks unfortunately. So if I stop listening after half an hour, I have to go back to the beginning. Anyway, it opens with China-Rider, and is well good.

Bought my ticket the night before and hit the road next morning on a near 500 mile drive. Fantastic show. So glad I didn't f*** that up! Don't own yet the nugz sbd so np Z-Man _Brian Lee transfer 165840 which is an excellent pull.

busy GOGD day TODAY...gonna have to start today with PHL 1981-05-02, because,
as we all like to say, 43 years ago...my friends and I piled into someone's 1970's or was it a 1960's station wagon for a ride down to the Spectrum...that's right I've got some high-test GD with my morning java...

but, of course...this afternoon's acoustic set will be 1970-05-02 [diP#8] @ SUNY Binghamton

I was at that Spectrum show. One thing in particular I remember was peaking during Scarlet>Fire and saying to myself, "whoa, they just played that backwards, note for note". Funny, the things we remember. Finally got a copy of that tape, and, no, they did not. But it was a damn fine show!
