Through the day-to-day today included a set of Beethoven. When I drive off I'll have the last part of 5/16/72 jamming w/ 5/18/72 at the ready. Tonight will feature Blanton-Webster, Gerry Mulligan, Miles, Davis/Griffin, Bill Evans, & Brother Jack McDuff. The jazz jam session probably will be abridged because my youngest has a softball game and she, no doubt, will go four for four with a stellar defensive play to save the game ... Hasta luego.
All sorts of things from Allman Brothers to the Who

one of the 'albums' on my ipod is a collection of about 1,000 dead songs from about 50-60 various different concerts from various genres. I keep that on shuffle and get to hear new shows all the time....
I like to put albums on my Mp3 player so here is this weeks......

I've been all about Jerry Garcia 5/5/82 Oregon State Prison lately, especially Ruben and Cherise.
I've also been listening to Greg Brown's The Live One a lot. "Canned Goods" is epic folk poetry at it's best.
My Morning Jacket's set at Bonnaroo 2004 gets a play on a weekly basis. "Phone Went West" and "Steam Curtain" are crazy good. I remember the storm coming in as the band began Steam. Completely insane.
Yo Soy Boricua!
mindbender: freaky! I'm listening to 9/10/91 right now.

Latest thing to knock me out is The Great 1955 Shrine Concert with some pretty amazing live gospel music.
"I tremble for my nation when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever." Thomas Jefferson
Put the new ABB archival on my I-pod - 8/17/71 Boston Common, great playing from Duane and Dickey, well-worth having
