About Me

I'm a writer and live in the Haight-Ashbury. I co-wrote "Skeleton Key: A Dictionary for Deadheads" with David Shenk, co-produced the Grateful Dead box set "So Many Roads (1965-1995)," and have written liner notes and essays for numerous projects by the Dead and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. I am also a regular contributor to Wired magazine and the Shambhala Sun.
