Being from Nassau i knew how the law works. i never hung out in that lot. last one in and the first one out. nassau pd pride themselves on the BIG BUST when the Dead came to town. it started in 73 when the pd reneged on a handshake deal with the dead. That year over 400 people got busted. the dead punished nassau and stayed away for six years. thats why you will never hear a nassau 77 tape. you were able to go home. this is where i live.peace

    !BUSTED!
I was on the east coast spring tour, for the first time I found out what getting busted on tour was all about with all the others 2 Hits of Purple Windowpane got me lots of trouble also my poor decision making back then helped out alot but I spent a week in Nassau County House of Corrections my Public Defender got me out and I ran right to Philly. I got dragged back there a year later to spend 6 months in Jail boy that sucked needless to say I never went back to Nassau Coliseum ever again

This was a general admission show and I remember being by the soundboard and wondering why there was so much open space on the floor. Perhaps because it was a weeknight... there was a lot of dancing room. Loved the 1/2 Step opener as I had never seen that tune before. It was also my first time hearing Phil sing (Tom Thumb) and Brent (Tons Of Steel). Shakedown -> Uncle John's was the highlight of a very short 2nd set.

good to see Half -Step come back after a lay off for a couple years and to have Phil step up with the Tom Thumb was very cool. Another solid show though short.
