Stand alone Supplication - Jerry vs Bobby
This was a strange night. When they started Supplication I thought "how weird", no Lazy Lightning. Jerry kept teasing the opening lines of Lazy Lightning but nobody went with him. Finally at the end of the jam Jerry plays the opening lines to Lazy Lightning... Phil joins in and then out of nowhere Bobby trumps them and crashes into My Brother Esau. Not much else noteworthy other than Brent singing "Baby What You Want Me To Do". One last comment... I love the way Jerry sang the line "She brings me 'bout every damn thing but the jail house key" in Don't Ease. Lot's of emotion. Never heard him sing it this way again.

Lat Show I saw for the next 2 trs
I entered a 2yr Residential Rehab in May of '85, I also attendedthe 2 previous nights at Nassau. I was living in Levittown LI just a walk away from The Coliseum so tkts were never a problem. It wasn't in my top 10 shows but it had to be because I knew I wouldn't be seeing the boy's for quite some time. Always loved a good opener & what better than Cold Rain & Snow since I was about to go through a divorce also. Lol
