still buds today - i remember i waited in the parking lot for some clown i knew and he no showed - i gave my 1st miracle away that night
this was a fatabulous night. I actually forgot about it because of the night prior. It wasn't till I was back home after this tour and I got a great FM copy of the show. I remember having a few people over the weekend I got the tape, so many people commented on it. But, it's so true, this show was amazing, & it's is totally over shadowed by the prior night. And everyone forgets that the first night they broke out with The Weight.
This set of shows was definitely one of my faves. And for the record, Bruce Hornsby did NOT play this show. If I am not mistaken, he was with the Dead in NY either spring of 91 or was it 92? Thinking was 92.......
I did all three of these shows in Strong Island. The second night deservedly receives much attention but this closer was hot rockin' from start to finish. HSF opener, nuff said. I remember the intensity from Iko Iko kicking off the 2nd set with major power. I also remember the P.A. cutting out a few times as well. Great, great show. My last time ever seeing the great Brent Mydland. The end of an era for me.

If this exact show was done on any other night people would have lost their minds about it, but since it was after THAT night it gets looked over. On a personal note this was my last Brent Show
