    Listening to this one.
I love the sound of the 1980 spring tour. Boys have so much energy.

    My First Show
This was my first GD show. I was a freshman in high school and my friend's dad rented a limo for us to go to the show. I only had a few GD albums (American Beauty and Europe '72) so I remember being excited to hear Ramble On Rose, China/Rider, Truckin' and Morning Dew. It was also my first time getting high. Well... that's where it all began... I got on the bus and have been into the Dead ever since. Saw about 100 shows. This was not the best... but somehow you always have fond memories of your first show and this is no exception.

    GD v. the Prom!
I took my date to the show, this was prom night for the rest of my class, but I made the best/only choice and asked my girl to the show. We had a blast, naturally, the show rocked our souls. We hooked up with the rest of the kids afterwards in Manhattan at a club. I do believe, that although it was her 1st show, she dug the scene like a vet. Good times, man.

Nassau never had become a favorite venue of mine but they played there so much you just had to go.This late spring tour I was only able to catch the one night ,was a goody though.
