I was at the tinley park show,I was farely close to the stage and brent looked a little haggered, still was totally sad what went down with him.that was a strange summer ,if I'm not mistaking it was the same summer that stevie ray vaughn died,he played two nights at alpine valley which was my favorite place to see the dead great times there anyway I went to the first night show with stevie ray that eric clapton headlined, the next night stevie ray died as the helicopter he was in flew right into the hill behind the stage.then later that summer the dearest person in my family died.it was a strong reminder that we're just here visiting and nothing but soul lasts forever.Peace

    Nice tribute to Brent
Both these broadcasts were really well done. Nice. I saw Brent's last show and remember this Good Time Blues. He got all over this version. I don't know if his personal life was coming out or what but it was noticeable that he was revved up and this also being the last show of the tour he gave it all he had. The Weight encore they do this night is really good too. It was great to see Brent dust off Far From Me , and Easy to Love you on his last tour. Blow Away was really beginning to rock when played and it's just a shame how much he was contributing at this time only to have it all go away. A truly gifted player that left us too soon. Thanks again for the tribute.

This version one of only three ever featured on the GDH. And the last one performed, obviously, by the band. This 7/23/90 performance is particularily sweet. You can hear the band really enjoying playing it. "Don't Need Love" is one fine tune as well.
