My mother had successful cancer surgery on August 22nd - prognosis is positive at this point. She has returned home and is resting comfortably.
Thanks to each and every one of my true FRIENDS here on Deadnet for their positive vibes and thoughts directed towards my mother. I firmly believe that those healing beams made all the difference for her.
Thanks again - and THANK YOU most of all, Gigi - for giving me extra strength when I needed it most. PEACE
I've found my way here...searching for an old friend--James Lamphier--aka Little Jimmy, he's an amazing glass blower and last I knew he lived in Maine...if anyone has contact with him, or knows where he is, please pass this along with love-- firstname.lastname@example.org ;)

Southeast Kansas and Northeast East Oklahoma Deadheads Unite. 98.9 KKRK out of Coffeyville Kansas has started a new forum on their website radioresultsgroup.com specifically for the Dead. Not much action going on but due to an increasingly large amount of requests for the Grateful Dead during their Live at Lunch show they created a Dead thread in their forums. Last week two tickets were given away to the Chautaqua Hills Blues Festival if you answered the trivia question correctly. Only one person replied and won the tickets. Also we are getting kind of bored with only two or three people being active in there. So if you are in the area tune in or log in because there will be more prizes given away. Oh yeah it's kind of weird hearing Sugar Mag or Box of Rain on the radio in this part of the country.
