Some very deadicated and clever people have ‘matrixed’ quite a range of stand-out shows; here are 5 from across the years that I have recently sampled, combining top quality sound with atmosphere like you were there. All that and 3 Dark Stars, 2 St Stephens and 2 Terrapins! 1 DVD with all FLAC files. Would unpack to 12 CDs Sept 19 1970. Fillmore East. (gd1970-09-19.mtx.chappell.31510.sbeok.flac16) Most of set 2. Absolutely mind-blowing show and recording. Great Dark Star and a Lovelight with Pigpen totally outrageous. 1 CD. Dark Star >St. Stephen >NFA>Darkness Jam > China Cat Jam > NFA-> Lovelight>Crowd noise > Youngbloods: Get Together>Phil and Pigpen speak ->Youngbloods: Get Together -> Crowd noise. Sept 16 1972.     For your efforts in getting this moving. I will still probably get Vol. 2 before Vol. 1, but at least this is moving again. Now, what about the May 1977 vines? "Let there be songs to fill the air."

    Update and list change
    Howdy! I've been in contact with our pal LIG71 in France. He is OK with just the Matrix DVD (we've been unable to get a response from the last known holder of the original European branch of the Matrix vine) so I have mailed him a copy of just the Matrix DVD along with another vine I was sending him. Bottom line: the Matrix vine is still here and will avoid the 3 week or so delay involved in transatlantic crossings. Therefore I will magically disappear LIG71 from the list, watch! 21.     Got the vines, hurt my back
    Hi, The Enter the Matrix vine arrived today (with the 1st anniversary vine), strained my back hauling it out of the mailbox. It hurts, but it's a good kind of hurt. I'm going to have to discuss sending this to LIG71 in France with the senior viners before sending it out - reference my post in Technical Discussions. I'll keep y'all posted.
