As a novice fisherman, it should be comical to watch me tie flies and actually hook and land a rainbow or brown trout in some beautiful setting. Kevin, I will be in Steamboat later in March to ski; however, the Yampa River runs through downtown and may offer a wading opportunity.Tiger Lilly: I'm really glad for you and your daughters looking ahead to better times ahead: I'll google Life Improvement on the Solstice. It just might help all of us out! Thanks Mary and Gypsy Cowgirl for the well-wishes: you know I'll be in contact when I visit northern California.

After a completetly catastrophic end to 2010 (4 deaths in 3 months), things are improving so dramatically that I can barely believe it. I keep pinching myself to make sure that it is true, and not some dream that I will wake up from right back in the same old nightmare. Also I am happy to say that my daughter is pulling out of her year of sickness and loss-depression, and is back to focusing on school and going foreward. We are going to have a Give Thanks for Life Improvement Fest on the Spring Solstice this year.********************************** I am not young enough to know everything. Oscar Wilde

Let's see...Mary Jane, that's Winter Park, no?I'm thinking about retiring so I can listen to the E72 Box. I'm going to Steamboat this summer - it's going to be odd with no snow. I'll be training there because three weeks later is the SF 1/2 marathon. I did it last year and it about killed me - guess I'm a glutton for punishment! (My oldest daughter will be with me and hopefully she'll get me through with a little less agony). Have to say I'm a bit envious. Enjoy!!! " Where does the time go? "

Gr8fulTed ........Now, this isn't as good, but could be funny. A few weeks ago, my 7 yr. old grandson got in trouble @ school for peeing on the grass @ the playground. (my son thinks he was showing off or something) Last week, he got an award for highest academic score in the 2nd grade.....go figure-one extreme to the other....OH, maybe he takes a bit after me....haha....:)))

So sorry for your lost, life is a fragile gift that is lost easy. I would suggest He's Gone,And to lay me down. Fire on the mountain and Shakedown street. Do you know what your father's favorite songs were? I would try to include them. I hope that this helps you in your time of sorrow.

yes,i think youre right. But its not only the net its the wholle vrtual reality created by the media, the moviemakers even advertising.everywhere you see things happening which in reality would kill every bystander.but, modernday technologie doesnt let die nobody so easily.they rush him(with5gunshot wounds,a broken skull and ebola)into the emrgency room.Dr.somehow gives him a good shoot of defibrilator, and the happy sucker is rady to go home.no wonder that many people today think that you can fall down from standing and it will only ruin your haircut.they do not understand that this ruined haircut has to be redone-i,c.of seizures for 30%of the victims-in a funeral home.sad bud true ! I just received my schedule for the 2008 season. Always exciting to see when you will be in your favorite cities, I then received a call from the League EVP/DBO who said he wanted to tell me that I had been selected to work the plate in the NL All-Star game in Winnipeg 7/8. It is a great feeling to be recoginized and appreciated by MGT. Not a common practice in Corp. America

I woke up one morning last week because I heard a funny noise. I walked into my kitchen and found my 2.5 year old with the fridge door wide open. He emptied it completely all over the floor, table, and chairs. 12 broken eggs, half gallon of milk, stick of butter rubbed into table and chairs, ect. He even dumped all of the baking soda everywhere. Leftovers, veggies, condiments...Everything opened and poured/squeezed out. A true test of ones patience and love!

when my son was about 3years old,i came home from work one day and wanted to chill a little,in fact why not watch a little movie.some animation, the small one would be happy too.so i took out a tape and wanted to put it in the VHS.but, what a surprise,it was filled with a lot of little pieces from some chewing candy bar.after realizing in seconds that there is no reason anymore to become mad(the machine was filled,so what..)i sat down and asked him why he had done this .he said completely serious "because i wanted to hide my candy but it was to big,so i tore it up and it worked.."This sounded absolutly reasonable, and the only thing i could do was smile.what is a vhs-recorder against a moment of happiness in a kids day anyway?and with a little patience i managed to clean that thing.....!:-)(-:

We've had the kitchen chaos ( bacon grease in the coffee maker) & a sprinkle covered doughnut in the VCR. One day in the distant future I'll get a call from one of the kids telling me how their little one ruined........ ha ha ! I won't feel sorry for them a bit. PEACE

When I was almost three I stuck a key in the electric outlet. Threw me across the room, melted part of the key. But no injury. Yes I do remember this clearly, 48 years later. My brother was someone who we never thought would amount to much- he bred racing pigeons and 420'd too much. In his 20's he met a fine woman and started going to college at night eventually becoming an .engineer. He lives in Dallas and has two kids and a wife-he mentors a jr high group of students in the annual FutureCity contest where students design cities. His kids won for Texas and are flying to DC to compete for the national prize -hard to believe but he did it. Of course big brother can still kick his ass.... And the road goes on forever.... He doesn't raise them any more-however he has a friend that stayed with it and ships pigeons around the world. My favorite were "tumblers" -they would fly really high in groups and then summersault almost to the ground they were amazing to watch.Listening to 77 pembroke pines dicks pick And the road goes on forever.... I contributed to an article about brewing kombucha tea that will be printed in the Asheville Citizen Times next week. Kombucha is a fermented tea loaded with active enzymes. It's a major antioxidant and has worked wonders in our lives. Although there are no proven health benifits to drinking it, the enormous impact it has had on our lives is outstanding. My three year old son has not had a single ilness in the last two years since he's been drinking it daily. You can view some pictures that were taken today of my cultures at the following site: www.citizen-times.com Upon scrolling down you will find a link in the photo gallery. Let me know what you think.

Your in California right? There's a brand called GT's thats brewed out your way. You could pick one up in any natural food store. If you brew your own you don't have to make it so strong.

Mental clarity for one gratefulmom. It helps build your immune system and rid your body of toxins. I've found that it helped me sleep a lot better and gave me the energy that I was lacking. Mary and I don't take over the counter meds and we really havn't had any reason to over the last few years. Brody goes to daycare and hasn't had a cold or even a runny nose in two years! Spectacular! After about six months of drinking it daily it started to supress my desire for alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine. The tea itself has a trace amount of caffiene and alcohol in it but its practically not there. You can use a decaf tea as a base, and also less sugar and a shorter fermenting time to eliminate the alcohol. Our lifestyles have completely changed because of those horrifying jars. There ugly, I know. Go get some, you wont regret it.

re GT's. There's also an actual kombucha place near the Rockridge BART station that I walk by all the time on the way to the taco place, so with this in mind I'll stop in next time.
