FYI, 10,000 Lakes has been shuttered since 2009, unless you know something I don't which is quite likely after all.

My favorite summer music festival in recent years has been the Ojai festival in southern California. They really do some interesting stuff. This year there are intimate sunrise concerts on beautiful Ojai hillsides and late night concerts of John Cage music. Also, matinee and evening concerts on saturday and sunday. Highly recommended!
where are you headed this summer? what are the don't-miss festivals?

"When's the last time you got to sleep outside? It's probably been way too long! Now imagine your tent surrounded by trees and hundreds of the coolest, down-to-earth people that all love the same music you do at the 3G's Music Festival. Oh ya, don't worry about sleeping on the ground – after a day of rocking out, drinking beers, followed by a late night jam and snack – you'll be out in no time! you should come out to the barn in bethlehem nh, it's kinda our version of the family dog. Thursday's is open mic and about once a month there is an event. It's a community effort run by volunteers it's where jerryjam got it's start. This weekend jatoba (blue grass band) is playing on saturday for earth day. The grateful sled is doing highway clean up then we all head to the barn for music and food.
looks like a great time camping out by the ammanoosuc river. hope the weather is good this year!
