Looking for a couple for all three days.
We are both sincere fans and will use the tickets we buy ourselves. Back in '95, I saw Three Rivers and the first night of Deer Creek and had tickets to the 2nd night but that show was canceled. It was a bit ugly. Decided not go on to Chicago and I missed that Shakedown and Unbroken Chain that last night... ever ... which I have regretted for many years.
I am happy for you if you got your tickets! If you happen to have a couple of extras I would love to have them. I NEED A MIRACLE! Redemption... I'll get a new start, live the life I should. I'll get up and fly away!
Not sure the best way to safely pay you but we can work it out. Willing to pay a bit over face for your time and effort but not looking to put money in a scalper's pocket.
I have something quite musically valuable that I would like to trade for 3 3 night floor or pit ( plus face value of course). I also have several reservations at nearby hotels for less than $200 per night that might sweeten the deal even more. I was at the last show in Chicago and want to twirl in the exact same spot! I now am sure it's going to take a miracle. Pm me if you want to talk about a trade!
Oddly, I dreamed of Alpine Valley last night - a screaming Fire on the Mountain with the sun setting. The dre was so much better than the day.
TICKET MASTER YOU SUCK............ i KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE TOUGH BUT TM YOU DIDN'T GIVE US A FRICKIN CHANCE...... SURE WOULD APPRECIATE 2 FOR 3RD OR 4TH IF ANYBODY CAN HELP OUT. HAVE ROOM AT HYATT REGENCY FOR 3 AND 4TH. IF I DON'T GET TICKETS I WILL NEED TO CANCEL OUR ROOM.. CHECK BACK IF ANYBODY NEEDING ROOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THX
start thinking parking. rates will soon go through the roof. spothero.com good resource for reasonable parking lots. Scored 3 days at $35 per with walking distance, 1 mile.
I am the same way . I don't do Facebook , and consider myself a normal down to earth person that just seeks personal human contact, the old fashioned way.. face to face or snail mail ....lol
I'm not tech say and got shut out twice (mail order) & (TM)
I was hoping to see the boys one last time , bucklist type of thing for me . Well
good luck to you . Maybe we both get lucky from another deadhead.
I love the Grateful Dead but haven't been able to see them in concert since 1986 (at Alpine Valley). I had so hoped to go to the concert at Soldier Field back in 1995, but it was not to be. I would love to take my husband to see this final concert. Not only has he never seen the Dead in concert, he's actually never even been to a concert! As I'm disabled (I have MS - I use a cane or walker on good days and a wheelchair on bad days), we can do the accessible seating options or the regular ones. In order of preference: Sunday, Friday, Saturday just because of my husband's work schedule. He's normally off on Sundays and Fridays are easier for him to get time off than Saturdays. But we can't afford much more than $100 or so per ticket.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully consider selling us a couple of tickets.
I agree, this isn't the way Jerry would've wanted this! Deadnet please do something! I never thought in a million yrs dead heads would do this to fellow headers, so sad I'm truly disappointed
Looks like no tix from GDTS or Ticketmaster. If you could spare two tix for the 4th (4 would be even more awesome so I can take my adult children who have heard the stories but say they would need to see it to believe it. I tell them you would need to hear it to believe it!) I will be eternally grateful and after I pass this mortal plane will return as guardian to you and/or your offspring...How's that for a Grateful Dead kind of deal? Please message me and we'll make a deal.
All those selling on stub hub for 10 to 50 times their purchase price should be shut out of going to the show ... they are not true Dead heads ...but merely Capitalists...I am a believer in the American Way but this is NOT ... the Promoters should find a way to purchase all these tickets on Stub Hub and not pay the seller and then find some fair method to distribute them to the true followers ...I do not even care if it is not me..... I first saw them at the Fillmore East in 1970 when they were still playing with the Riders
If anyone thinks someone who hasn't been on the forum for years is not a true deadhead, that's not true. Some of us are not computer types, I still play cassettes sometimes for cryin out loud, and I am one of the few people left in the world that has never been on facebook. I have been a head since I discovered them in highs-school and deadicated ever since forum or no forum.
