what I just figured out, which might help, is if I Preview Comment first, and then post it, it went right through without a hitch.
I will see if it works again with this post -- which with the way life is going, it probably won't.
ever optimistic, I will give it a go.
well, Preview Comment is working and getting the posts through straightaway...
others who have trouble posting might wanna try that, too.

I continue to get a message at the top of the page whenever I surf the forums.
Not Allowed to Post New Topic In Forums.
Wondering how come, and can't seem to find any help topic on it.
There are no user-created forums here on Dead.Net. I don't know why you'd be seeing that message unless you were trying to create a new forum. (I'll log in from my user account and see if I see that message...)
If there's a forum/topic you'd like created, please let me or MaryE know, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request!
Ms Izzie, thanks for your reply. Maybe I just misunderstood the New part. I read it as I could not post in a forum at all. My post in this one seemed to work so maybe its ok. I just was confused by that mssg at top everytime I went to a forum.

hallo,i have a little problem.when i open my account then i see in the messages colum only the words block message.other accounts have a second button saying send private message.does this mean that other people cannot reach me or does the block message button appear only if i click to my own site?thanks for your help frankly
the Jerry Forum. the stuttering problem is no big deal, atleast I have a place where I can comment on things that I find interesting. For some strange reason my non-dead listening people, don't seem to find these subjects so engaging!

I just went and looked at my own page and it has the same thing. I'll still send you a PM, but in case anyone else is wondering also, I think this is what's going on:
On someone else's page, you can either send them a message or block messages from them. That's what the two links are for.
Now I just checked on my own page, and, as makes perfect sense, there's no link to send messages to myself. On the other hand the Block Messages link is for blocking messages from myself, which does seem a little silly. I will seek technical enlightenment on this point.
