Johnny Lopez has been a radio host and DJ in Toronto's house music scene for over 20 years. Johnny began as a regular guest on Nick Holder's "Deep Section" on CHRY 105.5 FM for over 5 years before transitioning the show to "Beats United Radio" as host and programmer; at the same time, Johnny was a part of one of Toronto's legendary House music shows "Soul Fusion Express" on CKLN 88.1 FM.

Bob..if you're considering number 4, as I mentioned before I prefer the earlier material, but am very happy be re-educated by some classy late '89 shows.
I have just gratefully received the following bumper package from Richard

B. Winterland 1972 (December 10-12 1972 plus Sept 9 1973 (1 DVD))
C. Winterland 1973. (November 9-11 1973 plus December 8 1973 (1 DVD))
D. Winterland 1974. (Oct 16-20 1974 (2 DVDs))
E. May 1977 : (May 5,7,8,9 1977 (1 DVD))
F. Richards Picks. (2-22-74; 4-23-77;5-25-77;4-16-78 (1 DVD))
Mostly SHN, a few FLAC
I am ready to vine these around next week, but wanted to ask how people want me to to do it. All together makes a parcel size pack which may require customs declarations etc. Maybe 3 lots of 2 A+B; C+D; E+F or one by one?
Also Bob, how does the '73 material match with what is doing the rounds on Eurotraders?
Standing by!
With hugely grateful thanks to Richard I have just received the following bumper package
A. NRPS-Dead: 05/15/70 and 11/08/70.
B. Winterland ’72: December 10,11,12 1972 plus September 26 1973.
C. Winterland ’73: November 9,10,11 1973 plus 8 December 1973.
D. Winterland ’74: October 16-20 '74. (2 DVDs)
E. May 1977: May 5,7,8,9 '77
F. Richards Picks:. 2-22-74; 4-23-77;5-25-77;4-16-78
Does anyone have any preferences about how to vine these. All together, one by one or perhaps in 2 or 3 sets (AB,CD,EF or ABC, DEF). Let me know and I will vine them out with details next week.

If you want on this vine place your name at the next vacant slot and contact the previous person with address. Thanks for setting this up Bob, Greg

Another set flown over by Richard, who writes: Ok Boys and Girls,Here is a monster vine. I’ll tell you up front that there are some flaws and some missing songs but overall, I think the music is so great that these are worth having. In the interest of space here in this post I am including the source info and notes from the text files that came with the original digital files, but the setlists came from deadbase. The package will come to you with a full printout for each show listing which tracks are on which disc. Enjoy!

USTO EUROVINE D: WINTERLAND 16-20 OCTOBER 1974
2 DVDs. One more thanks to Richard who introduces it thus:
Hello friends, Today I offer up another vine I hope you all will enjoy. This is a five night stand at Winterland in 1974. It is my understanding that these shows provided the tracks for the live album “Steal Your Face.” With that in mind, let me say this - I already own 'Steal Your Face', both on vinyl and on CD. IMHO, it would show appropriate support for a band that is so generous with their copyrighted material for parties interested in these shows to buy/already own a copy of 'Steal Your Face' as well.

welcome back Tigerlilly. Hope you had a good trip.
Any sign of that Eurovine 1 1972 yet, or has that slow old donkey not completed its journey from the Sierra Nevada to Seville yet?
Was a really good trip, thanx c.b. Only bad part was leaving Essen back for Spain. Was shaking all Sunday morning because was in same country as my kids, but going farther away**********************************

I started feedback where the drums stopped and it was only guitar feedback.

Here's what deadlists has to say about this source:
COMMENTS
The circulating copy of this that is MSR>Cass>DAT>CDR has an
announcer who clearly states before Dark Star that the Grateful Dead played an
earlier set. Circulating tapes all cut at the very beginning of New Potato
Caboose and splice into the Feedback. DeadBase XI lists the end of this one as
New Potato Caboose going into Alligator > Caution > Feedback > AWBYGN, which is
probably just speculation on what's missing - but that would be a good guess
based on the song list and time period.

* At 1:18 into Born Cross-Eyed there is a source change to higher
quality stereo.
* The main source ends at 3:14 into Caution. The remainder of the
show is cross faded in from a SBDMR>?>Cass copy. The cut at about
3:14 was also on the cassette, picking directly back up after a
one second gap. No Caution vocals are contained on either source.
notes:
Crptical Envelopment through Born Cross-Eyed comes from an alternate
mono SBDMR source (SBDMR>DAT>CD). It contained a great deal of
static which was removed with DePopper.exe.
Feedback before Spanish Jam contains many hints at the Spanish
Jam theme.
Also of note is that the end portion of Feedback appears on the
"Anthem Of The Sun" LP.
