Winterland 1972 (December 10-12 1972 plus Sept 9 1973 (1 DVD)) C. Winterland 1973. (November 9-11 1973 plus December 8 1973 (1 DVD)) D. Winterland 1974. (Oct 16-20 1974 (2 DVDs)) E. (2-22-74; 4-23-77;5-25-77;4-16-78 (1 DVD)) Mostly SHN, a few FLAC I am ready to vine these around next week, but wanted to ask how people want me to to do it. All together makes a parcel size pack which may require customs declarations etc. Maybe 3 lots of 2 A+B; C+D; E+F or one by one? Also Bob, how does the '73 material match with what is doing the rounds on Eurotraders? Standing by!

Bob..if you're considering number 4, as I mentioned before I prefer the earlier material, but am very happy be re-educated by some classy late '89 shows.

Circulating tapes all cut at the very beginning of New Potato Caboose and splice into the Feedback. DeadBase XI lists the end of this one as New Potato Caboose going into Alligator > Caution > Feedback > AWBYGN, which is probably just speculation on what's missing - but that would be a good guess based on the song list and time period. Grateful Dead - December 29, 1968Gulfstream Park Race Track - Hallandale, FL Recording Info: SBD -> Cassette Master -> Dat -> CD Transfer Info: CD -> Samplitude Professional v8.01 -> FLAC (1 Disc Audio / 1 Disc FLAC) GRATEFUL DEAD Monday, January 22, 1968 Eagle's Auditorium - Seattle, WA SBDMR > DAT > Sonic Solutions > CD > EAC > Soundforge > SHN (see notes) 1 Alligator 16:05 2 Cryptical Envelopment > 1:43 3 Other One > 2:37 4 Cryptical Envelopment > 3:19 5 New Potato Caboose > 7:53 6 Born //Cross-Eyed > 1:57* 7 Feedback > 4:50 8 Spanish Jam > 8:22 9 Dark Star > 5:43 10 China Cat Sunflower > 4:13 11 The Eleven > 6:39 12 Cau//tion > 4:13* 13 Feedback 5:02 total time: 72:36 * At 1:18 into Born Cross-Eyed there is a source change to higher quality stereo. * The main source ends at 3:14 into Caution. The remainder of the show is cross faded in from a SBDMR>?>Cass copy. The cut at about 3:14 was also on the cassette, picking directly back up after a one second gap. No Caution vocals are contained on either source. notes: Crptical Envelopment through Born Cross-Eyed comes from an alternate mono SBDMR source (SBDMR>DAT>CD). It contained a great deal of static which was removed with DePopper.exe. Feedback before Spanish Jam contains many hints at the Spanish Jam theme. Also of note is that the end portion of Feedback appears on the "Anthem Of The Sun" LP. This version of the show was patched together and cleaned up by Noah Weiner (noahbw@attbi.com), February, 2002 All Transfers and Mastering By Charlie Miller charliemiller87@earthlink.net November 22, 2006 Notes: -- Lovelight fades in, very little missing -- Cleaned up cuts in Dark Star, St. Stephen and The Other One -- I also worked on the levels a bit Setlist: d1t01 - Turn On Your Lovelight d1t02 - Dark Star -> d1t03 - Saint Stephen -> d1t04 - The Eleven -> d1t05 - Drums -> d1t06 - The Other One -> d1t07 - Cryptical Envelopment -> d1t08 - And We Bid You Good Night- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Spanish Jam
