Ok Boys and Girls, Here is a monster vine. I’ll tell you up front that there are some flaws and some missing songs but overall, I think the music is so great that these are worth having.

In the interest of space here in this post I am including the source info and notes from the text files that came with the original digital files, but the setlists came from deadbase. The package will come to you with a full printout for each show listing which tracks are on which disc. If you would rather have the full text files via e-mail, drop me a PM with your e-mail address. First person on the list, PM me with your mailing address. Enjoy!

Something's a-miss w/ my previous post but, anyhow, the second disc from the playin' to the sing me back home is - see above - tremendous. Did I just see another show? "From day to day, just lettin' it ride, You get so far away from how it feels inside, You can't let go, 'cause you're afraid to fall, But the day may come when you can't feel at all."

BIODTL starts this disc with Dead air followed by BEW with a great solo by Jerry but then right at the bridge there's a cut that makes me think there are going to be cuts like there were on the 12/10 & 12/11 shows but NO!!! There's a seamless one in Cumberland that one can live with - it takes out Jerry's first solo - but the second solo really has to good effect Jerry & Billy. The Bird Song that precedes this is niiice. The rest of the set is solid until Tennessee kicks in. Jerry sings extra expressive here and his Sing Me Back Home. A temendous second disc is followed by a wrap-up of set-closing fare on the third disc that includes Bobby's Bee joke - huh? I can't quibble with the sound of the show and the pitch is Dead-Solid-Perfect. Thank you, Richard. Just listening to and enjoying 12/12. The set 1 running order published on Deadbase and in Richard's intro is different from that on the discs (and the txt file). Bobby McGee and Tennessee Jed have moved! Deadbase: 1: Bertha, BIODTL, Bird Song, Mexicali, B. E. Women, Jack Straw, Bobby McGee, Tennessee Jed, Box Of Rain, El Paso, Cumberland, Don't Ease, Around & Around Discs: xxxxx - Bertha (MISSING);d1t01 - Beat It On Down The Line;d1t02 - Brown Eyed Women//;d1t03 - //Mexicali Blues;d1t04 - Bird Song;d1t05 - Jack Straw;d1t06 -Cumberland//Blues;d1t07 - Box Of Rain;d1t08 - El Paso;d1t09 - Don't Ease Me In;d1t10 - Me And Bobby McGee;d1t11 - Tennessee Jed;d1t12 - Around And Around Can anyone shed any light on this?

Hey Cosmic,My intro was copied from deadbase. If i'm reading your post correctly, the text files I sent match what is on the discs. I've double checked my original files, and the text files do match the discs. I'm going to assume that deadbase (and thus my intro post) were wrong and that the discs and text files are correct. Hope that helps. Peace, Richard

The good, the bad and the ugly. It's all here. To begin, the Stella is absolutely gorgeous - but there's a cut - you know, one of those where the the blade's just left in there - that goes deep. That was the ugly. The bad is the pitch is 2.5 fast on discs two and three. Should you have a Cd player with pitch control the "Truckin'">"Drums">"Other One" is the stuff of dreams. I really liked the "Bertha", "Playin'", "Casey Jones" to start the first disc which actually end the first set. The most powerful tune of the night, IMHO, is "Sugar Magnolia". Jerry is really present all night and he nails it shortly before the close of the concert. "From day to day, just lettin' it ride, You get so far away from how it feels inside, You can't let go, 'cause you're afraid to fall, But the day may come when you can't feel at all."

thanks Richard. The setlist on the LMA SBD source also agrees with the discs, the txt and you. Good enough for me! Deadbase, this site and Setlists all appear to be in error. There is another source on LMA with the tracks all muddled up, perhaps that started the confusion.

Mellow Monday night mood that's perfectly suited for the "Dark Star>Stella Blue" that's the meat of disc three. Perfect pitch, great sound - muchas gracias Richard, I'm looking forward to the twelfth.
