The remainder of the show is cross faded in from a SBDMR>?>Cass copy. The cut at about 3:14 was also on the cassette, picking directly back up after a one second gap. No Caution vocals are contained on either source. notes: Crptical Envelopment through Born Cross-Eyed comes from an alternate mono SBDMR source (SBDMR>DAT>CD). It contained a great deal of static which was removed with DePopper.exe. Feedback before Spanish Jam contains many hints at the Spanish Jam theme. Also of note is that the end portion of Feedback appears on the "Anthem Of The Sun" LP. I was thinking about the freezer problem already. So I guess after a little party the rest of the burro will become Salami. Will contact one of my relatives in Bavaria, who makes excellent ones. And I don't want to dissapoint you, but I have started downloading 72_projects in a row a few days ago. So it might turn out that I won't be interested in that next vine of yours. But in case your vine is ready to hit the road before I get to Oct. and Nov. I will obviously ... andré

I on the other hand would be up for an Oct/Nov 72 offering as I have just purchased a new 500GB Hard Disk..and one that does not sound like a tractor! You can still buy horsemeat in a few special butchers here in France but I do not partake. When I worked in Kazakhstan horsemeat sausage was a daily offering, along with beer made from fermented horse milk....an acquired taste I assure you!

should Not Be The Only one Thang. I am aware of this ratio thing. So I am downloading stuff to pump it up, by downloading stuff that is not on the top of my list. But aside the ratio(nal) thing, I feel like downloading (as soon as my ratio is more than 0.1) stuff that will probably not help my ratio. Like Art Ensemble Of Chicago, Don Cherry, Townes van Zandt ... catching up with stuff, "you" all have already/for years. And I am ready to contact the dimeadozeners and tell them, what a nice person I am and that I really dig the idea of give&take and am online/share three to four days in a row, before I let my iMac have a seven or eight hours break and get sucky again :+) andré

Checking the list here at dead.net, I have everything played before the 1972 European tour except 04-04 but this will be part of project 1972_2, I am downloading. Regarding the period after the tour, I don't have 07-25 07-26 08-20 08-21 08-25 09-21 09-27 So I could supply 06-17 07-16 07-18 07-21 07-22 October and November completely missing. And regarding December, I also don't have -15 and -31. andré

Bob, you wrote "The Burros here are being trained in self defence, in case anyone tries to eat them". In response I could reply "Das ist mir Wurst" (= I don't give a ... dime) but instead I would like to know, whether you have ever witnessed when somebody tries to keep a hungry diabetic (let's say with a low blood sugar rate) away from food ? No matter if in self defense or for other good reasons. Well, as the Borg use to say "Widerstand ist zwecklos !" And I am not sure how much times a snail can carry it's own weight, but as long as they make it from Mike's to my place in a week, they don't seem to have problems. Aside the fact that, at least over here in Germany, nobody forces snails to pick up jobs. And let me add that I am prepared, after ordering 400 more blanks, although a lot of these will be used for the 17 DVDs the other local eurotrader gave me yesterday. Kraut, Kraut, Kraut ... and more Kraut. Maybe the burro will perform some unholy rolling on it, so the Kraut will taste a bit like meat:+)

what the Borg said...

Here are some snail facts Snails usually travel in irregular paths, often traveling in a circle. Snails reply mainly on their sense of touch and smell when finding food because they have very poor eyesight. Snails cannot hear. The fastest snails are the speckled garden snails which can move up to 55 yards per hour compared 23 inches per hour of most other land snails. Garden snails hibernate during the winter and live on their stored fat. Not very well suited for the postal service then:...maybe the snails don't actually carry the mail themselves, but are secretly in charge of the burros, riding them across the mountains sounds like Bob's enjoying life alone with his cigars..

what the Borg said..." Yes it is, Mary. At least in the German versions. Retranslated it is "Resistance is aimless". And as I never saw some originals, I stayed with the German. After all the burros and Wurst .. not to mention that to me the German sounds stronger/more ... borgy. What's the original sentence ?
