Hello Eurodeadheads! Just back from my travels! I am not sure on what the status is of the three Vines Bob has now kindly started, for short Europe '72, Horns '73 and now '78 From what I see there have been no takers so far, or has TigerLilly started off now? Also has anyone taken up any of the offers of Transatlantic vines. I am ready and able to get moving on this now and sign up on the lists, but just want to be sure where we stand. thanks

There must have been a problem with a recording device as the quality varies, at times muddying quite a bit in the higher frequencies. In addition, there were frequent and absolute drops in amplitude. The dropouts have been patched with an audience recording. I do not know whether this problem starts with the master recording. There are also numerous digisnits during the last few songs of the show, probably from the DAT lineage. The last half of Around & Around is supplied from the audience recording, due to some amplitude shifts plus an ever increasing number of digisnits. Aside from the flaws, the SBD is crisp, as if it has perhaps one analog generation. Notes: --FOTD cuts out; several minutes are probably missing --frequent audience patches from near the end of Playin through Passenger and the first 2 minutes of Space (due to large dropouts) --audience patch from 1:08 to 2:34 in Estimated (covers reel flip) --digisnit @ 7:21 in Estimated --digisnit @ 9:57 in Stella Blue --numerous digisnits in Sugar Magnolia --aud patch from 4:05 to end in Around & Around (due to some dropouts and a large number of digisnits) part of The Music Never Stopped Project 2002 Thanks to Mike Tausig for the DAT>CD transfer of the SBD portion Thanks to Jack Warner for the DAT>CD transfer of the AUD portion edits/encoding by JCotsman Bob - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Spanish Jam

My my ... the wurst thing so far, regarding the commercial mix of German and English, was a company's advertisment of backpacks as bodybags ... into the black. And aside the fact, Bob, that your burros are always welcome at my front door, simply because I like the way these mammals look and their definitely Stephen Segal way of "no way to make me do what you wanna make me do", if they don't want to. Not to mention that my muse sometimes refuses to kiss, but kicks like a mule, I might write something titled Burro Chainsaw Massacre. Maybe something else about snails, that make it from here to the cosmicbadger's french home in less than a week (in complete disregard of the speed limit he himself posted regarding snails. But (said story) probably not before I will loose the bandwith to download torrents, after moving away from the town of my birth, end of May. To a region, where more and more lights go out, as the indigenious people use to say. And comedians joke about (one of them also mentioning a few nazis on a hill, looking for a foreigner to beat up). This vine got started in the USA by Ltapilot. Richard has sent a copy to me, so that DVD does not have to cross the pond two times. Probably burros have better things to do than to swim long distance twice. If you are interested, please check the content by clicking Forums/The Vineyard/Acid Test Vine. If you want to have it, write a new comment with Acid Tests Vine in the subject line, copy and paste the list on bottom of this post and send me a PM with your postal/mailing address. andré 1. richard 2. andré 3. 4. 5.

simply announces : I will be away from my place from April 4th. to probably 29th. I send this post to let everybody know about it. Just in case you are or have a tendency to become interested in one of them Vines Across The Waters. 'Cuz quite a lot of these have madly assembled at my place ... to find out which ones these are, please check this forum ... Simply let me know via PM, as soon as possible. Butt no later than April 2nd. and, as you know now, there is no need to worry, if I don't jump at any vines in the old world, nor leave other comments on dead.net during the period, mentioned above. I will reappear, keep on playing according the traders unwritten rulebook, as far as I know and understood what I know about it. andré ... still around for another/about 192 hours.

These two arrived today and will go out to UncleJon outsidewichita. The latest will be Thursday afternoon, because maybe the KFFM vine will arrive until then. Which means I could copy that one and then also send it to UncleJon outsidewichita, before I will be away for three weeks. andré

The good ol' CotMos! ("Conspiracy of the Mules ... or something !") On March 19th Bob sent me a PM, announcing that he is putting them panniers on (to the burros, I am sure). But the KFFM vine has not arrived at my Mule Stop yet. So outsidewichita you will have to wait, because I will be away for three weeks, before the post man will ring me again, tomorrow. Now as Bob's PM came in already two weeks ago, it seems to be the right time to get worried. Just a little. And just in case somebody is interested in getting worried :+) Fo Sho familiar with the old saying, regarding even slow burros usually getting the wholeworm thingdone, we could wait, until I will be back in my mailbox again. In case Bob will decide to send this vine again, before I will be back on track, consider me stepped back. So Bob can ask outsidewichita for his postal address, then send it there. And Have A Good Time ! All the time All the time All The Time. andré

I have just posted a vine for 28/29/30 March 1990 on New Vines. I will launch a Euroversion if anyone wants these shows this side of the pond. PM me if you need them. LOSSLESS FORMAT WITH INSTRUCTIONS. YOU NEED A DVD PLAYER AND CD BURNER.. The shows are presented as SHN or FLAC files on one DVD. Bob, please unfold this cryptical development : I signed in on the Nassau 1990 Eurovine, started by Cosmicbadger, who then posted that he will send it on Monday. Next comes your post. And because there is no name on top of it, I am not sure if you are talking to me or not. Probably you are not, because (as far as I know) CB has the Nassau 1990 Eurovine. You may know better, but I guess I know good. But as it is Monday already, this reply of mine might be too late. And it seems appropriate to apologise, if it turns out that I am responsible for them skinny spanish burros to have no break in Freiburg. And in case your post above says "Would you mind if the Burro train will stop by in Freiburg, while on it's way to Düsseldorf", well ... I would not mind them burros to stop in Freiburg and chop some fine Blackforest leaves, as long as they will arrive at my place before May 24th, because after that day my postal address will change. And for a few reasons, I will not tell the local post office my new one. andré

Yes, rules. To me the word "rule" is not a "bad" one in general. And I want to add that to me a "rule" is also not a bad thing in general. Aside of this, I am definitely aware that some words are bad and some rules are bad, too. So, as people, interested in a vine, need to add their name to the list and send a PM with their postal address to the person, who's name is the last one on the list, to get the DVD(s) she or he wants, I used the word "rule" (also to save some time, I admit), because this little procedure is the simple, clever and userfriendly rule, how to play the game named "vining". Happy DarStar & Talking In Tongues ;+)))

Hello all,As per the common-sense good sugestion, 3 vines--Eurovine #3, Summer 72/Europe 74, and Oct-Nov 72--were offered up and snapped up at the EuroTraders group. As three people wanted all three vines, they should float around for a while. Thanks, Brad
