    Soundcheck set from Watkins Glen

Can someone PLEASE tell me how I can buy an authentic cd or download of the complete dead soundcheck set from the Watkins Glen show - 7/27/1973? Thank you for any reply? Have the jam from So Many Roads. Have a framed poster in my home office. (I was only 11 at that time, I’m convinced I was born 10 years too late because I would have been there).

Hey guys Just wanted to let you know I have this album. it rocks. I was scoping for the music art for it and I came across this. This is an amazing album and I think it's awesome to listen to something that was someones first concert, Be cool if you read this. Anyways. It's part of Sound Board Files. So yes it is recorded just very hard to find and to obtain. Best of luck.

I was about 86 feet to the right of this lens view, enjoying an electric bottle of Almaden.

What's the truth about the recordings for this show? I know about "The Band's" B.S. release, but what about the Allman's, the Dead, and The Band's real recordings? Didn't anyone roll tape that day? I sure would have loved to be there ! Unbelievable picture Chipgar! Thanks.

This takes me back so much. I had never seen the Dead, hell, I had never been to a concert before....I went with my first love... and this show, the summer I was 16, was such an amazing event in my life. $10.00 tickets, never torn...I had them framed for years, then lost them "in a firestorm" that happened in my life 25 years later. Allman Bros, Grateful Dead, The Band...the sights, the sounds....I was never the same after that weekend.....blessed to have been there.

Caught the soundcheck(s) the night before from about ten feet. Caught the show the next day from about 300 feet :)
