    Time flies away...and yet..
    It has been a very long time since I could say I've been "tuned in" to all the Dead-ness . In the years 79-82 I caught about 40 shows ,mostly on the East coast. It has indeed been a long time since every tape/record/or disk in play was a Grateful Dead recording but the last few weeks have been spent listening to old radio shows and dustin off some records (Winterland, Nassau Coliseum,etc) and I must say it feels good. I am taken back to those years when all that mattered was"Where are they playing tomorrow and do we have enough gas or $ or brains and balls,to get there?" Thanks for your hard work. Clearly I am not the only old man who is transported in time to a carefree day.

    A few words of appreciation.
    First off, let me say how jazzed up I am about this site. To hear all this stuff is like meeting a long lost friend or relative. I'm fairly young, but feel right at home within the music and moment. I would also like to send gratitude to those who work the site. It is very user-friendly and I have turned a few good friends on with the link. Fantastic work by everyone involved. I wish other bands did shit like this. I love how the Dead have confronted piracy by pretty much giving it all away for free. Much love and thanks. Made my day to hear Jerry tell of the Terrapin composition. Beautiful jams. Wonderful stories. Thank you so much!

If it's Quicktime that you use for your player....you can change this in the little window that pops up....if you are using windows media player....it doesn't work!♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥ Twirly Banner
