    and a great
night in the park!! Only needed two layers the whole night. Almost balmy for SF. Had my brother-in-law from Minnesota along. He was wowed by the the park and the crowd. He's a Dodger fan so I exaggerated a little and told him it was like this everynight :-)

JackstrawfromCo.... Many years ago, during a period I think of as the "dark days", my stepson was a Dodgers fan and liked rap music. I was exposed to enough of both that I was given to ponder at times what heinous thing I might have possibly done in a past life to deserve this. About five years ago he returned from college. An event I looked forward to with some dread. I came home from work that day to find his car parked in front of the house, right where I usually park. On the back bumper was a SYF sticker and on the back window a Giants sticker. Deeper thinking minds than mine could probably extract a lesson about life from this. "Crazy rooster crowin' midnight, balls of lightin' roll along Old men sing about their dreams, women laugh and children scream And the band keeps playin' on..."

Members of the Garcia family and the original band to throw out the first pitch??? I sure hope they all know how to throw a baseball, we don't want no embarrassing failures like what happened to certain celebrities who failed to throw properly.

Probably something like that.Or, no matter how many Dodger games I had to listen to, or how much rap music I had to listen to, it was like leading a horse to water.....

your comment earns a "bah dum bum, chsssh" (was that good onomatopoeia for a cymbal crash?).

I'm sure Giants got the shutout... Bob and Phil, especially Phil was great doing the National Anthem The tribute band was... ok - not bad really I was at the game early but not there for the triples alley gig - bet that was way cool tho good to see Micky Hart and Bill Walton too - fun stuff probably one of the coolest crowds at the park in a long time (a year probably....) enjoyed the live clips they showed on the big screen between innings too.
