    see this if you can!
I had an opportunity to interview Lee Johnson, who is the man behind Dead Symphony...a great man with many great musical exploits...seek out his work...buyt certainly a great place to start is with Dead Symphony! He brings many nice touches, funny and moving musical references and allusions...Lots of wit and daring...as mentioned above...certainly NOT a muzak version of the Dead! The album truly has a performance feel... ENJOY!!!

    3 times?
the article mentions that this symphony has been performed only 3 times before-- which is very interesting because i've seen 1 of 3! the indianapolis symphony orchestra layed this earlier this summer at a gorgrous outdoor venue (conner prairie). it was a take on the dead, and not a muzak version of the dead. worth hearing! enjoy! caroline
