    started by JackstrawfromColorado I know they say 1986 is a rough year but there are some real gems if you poke around particularly during the spring tour. I am not good at picking out a "best of" like our friend dstache =) but the 5 shows I chose (fit on one dvd and) are pretty darn good sound quality sbds. As for a quick review, if you can forgive Jerry for drawing a blank on Althea on 3/20 (his guitar work makes up for it though!), the next song, Box of Rain, is fabulous, one of the best I've heard. The Cal Expo shows are both exceptionaly good, I'll even go out on a limb and say they are in the top 5 for '86.     I'm Back For Good I Think
    JSFC is right the last year and a half has been one life curveball after the other. I have been in and out of the vining community in that time. I had a very unexpected death in my family right before the end of last year that I had to deal with. I think I have finally weathered the storm, and should be able to stay in touch more often, at least 3 or 4 times a week, which should be often enough to stay up to date with all of my vining. I have been involved in the vine since its begining and I have most of the vines offered already in my catalog so I won't be signing up for a huge amount of vines. Thanks to everyone for continuing to move me down the list instead of removing me completely. If my abscense has caused anyone grief please accept my apologies!!!

    Jackstrawfrom Colorado - thanks for the info. dstache - I was lucky to see some shows that turned out to be classics. I have a few more to list, but sometimes it's hard to remember which show of a run I saw.

You should check out radtek's list of shows he has seen. Not many but made the most out of it. 8/6/71, 11/14/73, 11/17/73 and 12/29/77 are some killer shows, my friend.
