“It has some of the first things I’ve written, and that we’ve performed as a band, that in my opinion are genuinely beautiful...We were in the studio, creating this thing, pullin’ together, and because we managed to get off under those circumstances the music has a certain quality.” - Jerry On American Beauty

"I listened to the album two or three times that night just taking it in, living in its world, and loving it, trying to understand what this feeling was. It wasn’t happy, nor was it sad. Yet, it reflected the presence and possibility of every emotion in the rainbow, and the recording was unbelievable. The talent and musicianship were undeniable. The lyrics melted my mind." - Jim James, My Morning Jacket

"A complete contentment shines through the vocal work on this album. A full contentment. The instrumentation is rich with sound that moves through, under, and into the listener. Damn it all, the album is American beauty, of the best possible kind. The positivity of the Dead just can’t be kept down. Look at the cover. 'American Beauty' can also be read as 'American Reality,' thanks to Mouse Studios. If more of the American reality were this album, we’d all have a lot more to be thankful for." - Andy Zwerling, Rolling Stone, December 24, 1970

We are thankful to be here today celebrating the Grateful Dead's most lauded studio masterpiece with a 50th ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION. Available on October 30th, the three-CD set will feature the original album with newly remastered audio, plus one of the most requested archival recordings in the Dead's vault - the unreleased concert recorded on February 18, 1971 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. On stage that night, the Dead debuted a whole new batch of songs, five in all: “Wharf Rat,” “Playing In The Band,” “Bertha,” “Greatest Story Ever Told” and “Loser.” Fans were also treated to a few standbys from the previous decade, including “St. Stephen” and an inspired “Dark Star>Wharf Rat>Dark Star” jam. Notably, keyboardist Ned Lagin (who played piano on “Candyman” on American Beauty) sat in with the band for the show. It's all been mixed from the 16-track analog master tapes by Jeffrey Norman at Bob Weir’s Marin County TRI Studios and mastered by Grammy® Award-winning engineer, David Glasser. How about that!

I was so knocked out with this version of American Beauty that I lent it to my friend, who hasn't heard a Dead album for about 50 years, to see what she thought. I advised her not to bother with 2/18, though. Shouldn't have bothered lending any of it it really - you can't turn other people on.

Late in the day -- but I've been listening to the 3 Port Chester shows again this week. 'fraid to say that apart from the Dark Start / Wharf Rat / Dark Star -- 2/18 is not that great a show -- most of the other debuts sound pretty tentative -- the drum sound on the recording is lousy, the boys harmony singing is poor. The WMD 2/21 is by far the better played show -- spot on.

I have not been able to play the FLAC in any form besides one song at a time, which would drive anyone nuts--and which I did not pay for.
I have kindly requested help from gratefuldead@gnarlywoodstore.com and I am ignored.
I even got the automatic reply for a ticket having been created (March 12th, 10:09 A.M.), but have heard nothing but crickets.
I'm sure they are busy, but this is ridiculous.
Anyone else have any of these problems?

It is unclear if this is two separate sets or one long set. There are no audible set breaks or announcements on the circulating soundboard tape. On the commonly circulating Lai soundboard remaster there is approximately 45 seconds of Good Lovin’ after the drums segment. The conclusion of the Good Lovin’ (estimated length 20 minutes) and the show-closing Uncle John’s Band appeared on the deadnet Tapers Section in either December 2012 or January 2013.

The last show before the first seismic change of 1971...............

Clearly, sonically the best of the three January 1971 shows. Hard rocking, with a generous helping of greasy Pigpen material. A fine early 1971 example of the “sledgehammer approach”. Recommended!!

Ken Babbs introduction of the band is priceless. Referring to Pigpen as Ron Mckuen (Rod McKuen American poet) hilarious. No wonder I love and respect Babbs and Ken Kesey so much. I wish a clean soundboard existed. Lane Community College, Eugene, Oregon ,1971. How can one go astray. August ,1971 was my first time visiting Oregon. Started living there in 72. If you like sonic challenges, maybe this is the one for you. This looks like first set material, and all that commonly circulates. Is it even in the vault? Badly damaged/degraded soundboard, did somebody spill their electric kool-aid on it?

Attention, Chuck Berry fans. The first documented version of Johnny B Goode by the Dead was on 9/7/69, although that gig may not have been a full Grateful Dead band performance. Following that, it apparently was not performed again until this gig in 1971.

It appears that a big chunk of this show is missing, so hard to judge based on only what we have here. There are a few bright moments, but “sonic issues” make it a very difficult listen. Unless you’re a completist, you should probably skip this one…………………..

Re/ Different Sound & Technical Sonic Difference
...this is just one factor , there are more as well.
02-18-71 - Grateful Dead at the Capitol Theater, Port Chester, NY - Ned plays for the entire concert. He played sparsely or sat out on a very few tunes because the band seemed not in tune (with his keys), some tunes did not need his keyboard (it was by his own choice), and also he wanted to leave space for Pigpen. In earlier discussions, Ned talked only minimally about his playing on 02-18-71, mentioning only a few of the tunes he really liked and remembered without having a set list or recording.

Ned plays organ and clavichord, with Uni-Vibe (Jerry loan) and Cry Baby wah-wah (Jerry gift) pedals; Ned played through two of Jerry's spare Fender Twin Reverb amps. These had the original tie-dyed speaker covers and were mic'd but because of feedback there was a direct box transformer line output. Ned was surrounded (virtually buried) in baffling, equipment cases, and padding by Ramrod (and Jerry) to tame feedback problems from having to mic and amplify the very quiet clavichord.

Especially notable is "Dark Star" > "Wharf Rat" > "Dark Star" > "Beautiful Jam" > "Dark Star" > "Me and My Uncle". Ned did not know until the David Gans interview in 2001 that later this was called "Beautiful Jam". The "Beautiful Jam" is included in the "So Many Roads (1965-1995)" box set on disc two, track 2.

This is the first time that the Grateful Dead performed "Bertha", "Wharf Rat", "Johnny B. Goode", and "Playing in the Band". The afternoon of the concert, back stage during set up, Jerry told Ned he had new songs they had not played before. First he talked through "Bertha". Then "Wharf Rat", which he played for Ned quietly on guitar and singing, showing him the changes (chords) and vocal so he could play it that evening coming out of "Dark Star". A little later, Phil came up to him, told him about "Wharf Rat", and talked him through it, but with no instruments. He didn't know Jerry had already done it, but Ned was happy to have more info. Bob asked Ned to sit back for the first part of "Playing in the Band" and the vocals until he got it.

Jerry sometimes fedback through the sounding board and brass strings of Ned's clavichord as did Ned himself; the feedback character comes from the sweetness of the brass clavichord strings and acoustic wood soundboard.
I hope this RE-post helps explain my point of view& perspective on these two sonic Bears Journals in question. 🙏
Also, another great source of info On the recording/ tec stuff, around this time during Bears Quest & journey began recording shows to share with the band and to help improve there overall live sound Quality and quantity in the bands jamming sequences & such. More info is included in the Dicks Picks #4 release lunar notes. I would post them but I can’t find them besides the physical release on my shelf with the rest of my dicks picks series. I love this dicks pick 4, primo dead! Have a grateful day everyone. 🙏❤️💀🌹

If anyone is interested in the original blog post from Ned the link is below...credit the people from which you take thoughts or ideas, plus it's way cooler to say...hey I found this from the horse's mouth, check it out. Rather than bury "re-post" in 5 paragraphs and give no credit to the original source. You are expressing someone else's thoughts and point of view, not your own. It might align with yours, but give them credit for their hard work and stop pretending like these are original answers derived from prescient knowledge of product releases. Sorry, it's a teachers life.

Tripped over that post, tried to ignore it again, and faceplanted. Thought I'd read that somewhere before. I try and absorb as much input as I can about the band, it gives interesting insight in the "whys" of the music. My wife says it takes away the magic as it removes the listener's ability to imagine their own meaning. Confused? Me too. Here's an example from Ned's notes. Say you're listening to a 70s show and ponder, "Why did Jerry or Phil make their instrument sound like whale sounds in this jam, Seastone section, or soundscape. Did they discover those sounds due to the natural timbre and function of the instrument? Is it me searching to attach familiarity to the eternally strange? Was it inspired by a contemporaneous event? Or does Phil have a secret lifelong love affair with whales....I have seen the 80s t-shirts. Maybe, just cause whales are crazy cool. Why would a fan of a band even f-ing care about this?...What a maroon.

Turning to Ned's blog during the month of May, he mentions a night hanging with Jerry, Phil, Pigpen, and Mickey. That night they analyzed compositions, hung out, and listened to a vinyl of whale songs.

Am I reaching here? Maybe. Is it fascinating to read about the band and find moments of the guys real lives stealing their way into the shared world of the Grateful Dead? Absolutely.

Couple all this psychedelics-tinged nonsense with a crushingly detailed memory 🤯, I've been known to pop a few balloons.

I've been listening to a lot of soundboards lately, and I hear a lot of recurring jokes and themes in their between-song banter. "Alligator". "White Rabbit". "Hey you said that last night and nothing happened" (referring to a bulldozer that was going to move people out of the aisles). "This crowd don't care about George Washington's teeth either".

It made me think of recurring jokes and subjects that would come between my live-in college buddies and me. Then I started wondering how cool it would be to have Grateful Dead Real World to accompany the tunes, especially during rehearsals and when they all lived at the Haight. I can just imagine:

Jerry - "After 15 minutes of jamming I had no idea how to transition back to The Other One out of the jam, and then I remembered oh yeah, this is so difficult because we're in Dark Star....then Bobby bails me out with that off-shoot of the Archie's, what's that called man? Oh yeah Tighten Up....we should do that more. I can play on top of that all night".

Bobbie: "lol, no man Archie Bell. The Archie's are an animated TV show band".

And so on.....

Come on butch, you wrote that I write fine and I took it like a complement. Don’t take this the wrong way but your not to good at reading or at least my posts it shows. I never wrote I never gained nothen except from one person! No,on this forum I’ve had grateful trading with a few members with never a problem! What I wrote Is that “I had a problem with only one person on this forum over my sold Grateful Dead items.”!! The end! you understand now. I sold some CDs & never had a problem with any of them for years. Then One person, I repeat , Butch , only One Person ever had a problem with any thing I may have sold or traded. And I ALSO gave free gifts such as free Zcds & Vinyl records to members from this forum all over the world for free! In all the years I had been on here everything Just was excellent positive vibes and love. Then I sell something to a new member who I even welcomed into the forum with open arms to another beautiful DeadHead to find their way here. We talked privately for quite some time in & formed what I thought was a good foundation For any friendship wise , but I was wrong .Then bada bing bada boom, He turned this place into a circus he performed as the ringleader with a couple other members jumping on a bandwagon that they didn’t know a thing about except one persons accusations. These people actually believe the slander this one member smeared all over this board. One person . Is this clear enough.
Geeze, please let’s move on this is over with . You guys just won’t stop.totally uncalled for, especially Most important concerning Direwolf post accusing me of plagiarism! Crazy Suff! I never took any credit for that post telling the reader I wrote this! in my circle of people that I surround myself in & who have knowledge of grateful dead this was no secret! Or old news. Everything we post comes from some place else unless your the person in question; they could be no original because “here if we post a message it could be twisted and turned something completely different which is happening right now.I have visual problems and it makes things difficult for me so I ave things in my phone, I only have so much space so my files are all over the place since I lost more than half my vision. I’m not completely blind as some folks keep posting & accusing me so. For the record!, I’m blind in my left eye and lost about 75% of my vision in my right eye Due to a lesson on the back of my brain on the right side which is the size of a golf ball , around 3cm it believe. I might have the measurements wrong, but in Laymans terms I was told by the doctors it’s the size of a golf ball. Inflammation in my brain , pushing on my octive nerves causing my blindness in one eye and other vision problems that come along with this disorder. My depth perception is inaccurate because to have proper depth perception you need two functional eyes. At least that’s what I’ve been told. I just had a spinal tap this pass week on Thursday. This was done to relive the pressure in my brain as well to test if there’s any infections present which could be deadly. Any way. I Wish everyone a grateful day to all our sisters and brothers, be safe be kind & keep on trucking! 🙏❤️💀🌹

The release of this album on Amazon has the words “w/O card” in the title. Does anyone know what this card is that only comes with the dead.net version?

user picture

Hey DeadAreMyDealers. The listing on amazon is definitely confusing. My interpretation is that "w/O-card" means "with O-card" (as opposed to "without card). An O-card is similar to a "slip case", except the O-card is open on two ends, not one end like a slip-case (the "O" it forms around the CDs and booklet is really a skinny rectangle). It looks like amazon's trying to say that the 3CD version they're offering comes in an O-card which is where the 3-D/lenticular cover art would be located (like previous 50th anniversary releases including Workingman's 50th). Won't guarantee it, but that's my take.

I noticed that description for the February 18th show now indicates "speed correction and tape restoration by Plangent Processes". That was not originally there.

Yes you are correct. It was added a couple of weeks ago ,”grateful Eye”! I posted this awhile ago but it was probably assumed more lies/bullshit. This is another reason why I believe in my opinion, the 18th concert has a different ‘Technical difference’ or whatever the term this forum is using now. I have a feeling this show will be the most popular between the two 1971 concerts included in the 50th Anniversary of both WMD & AB release(s) Because of the sonic wise, highest audio quality and mastering & Mix. But this is just only my opinion folks, to each the own the saying goes. That’s what makes life so beautiful & humility & precious.
Have a grateful day everyone & “Rock On”!
Ps: absolutely correct about the packaging terminology!

As noted by KeithFan, the verbiage regarding Plangent processing is the same statement that appears in the Workingman's Dead 50th anniversary edition. So no change there for our upcoming American Beauty release....which is a good thing.

I'll make one oddball prediction while I'm here: Predict by end of year we'll see a physical CD release of the Angel's Share for both Workingman's Dead & American Beauty. Perhaps more wishful thinking than a logical prediction, but hey...

What we either knew, or surmised - 2/18/71 & 2/21/71 were both recorded at the same venue on the same equipment by the same people and both have now been restored, mixed and mastered by the same people in the same way. The obvious result of this is that technically both will sound pretty much the same. Of course the differences in the line-ups will ensure that the band will sound slightly different. Main thing is that 2/18/71 will sound as good as 2/21/71 and that can only be a good thing.

Wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers but I guess it happened. Circles are just that, inclusive closed shapes that have edges and keep things in and/or out. People travelling in "circles" are closed off from the whole that is the universe and any external stimuli or ideas. People in "circles" end up treading the same path into the ground...never going anywhere. Spiral is better shape for life, not circle around and around.

But, I'll play along. This is what I tell my students, thoughts are very important and original ones are hard to come. If you use some one else's words and thoughts, especially so extensively without proper citations, that is plagiarism by definition. It doesn't matter what one believes or feels, it matters more for someone to know based on evidence. A writer should not assume the reader has the same in-depth and expansive knowledge that they do. Therefore if you use someone else's work as a substantial section of your writing, the omission of authorship is just as egregious as claiming it is your own work. Do not assume the reader already knows your source of information. This allows people to pass off someone else's ideas and thoughts as their own due to their reader's ignorance of previous knowledge from outside sources. This results in making the plagiarizing offender appear more knowledgeable and authoritative on a topic than they possibly are because the reader is oblivious to original source material. At best this creates a level of phoniness and lack of ingenuity in writing, and at worst creates more misinformation, misappropriation, and confusion in a world already rife with lies and misleading people. Sorry but the only way this world is going to do anything better than it already has is if we start caring about the small details and where information comes from.

Direwulf - you are quite right. On the last course of note I went on, in 2012, plagiarism was considered a hanging offence. I can remember feeling slightly concerned that I had read so many books over the years that I was no longer 100% sure what were my ideas, what were someone else's, and if they were someone else's, who the heck those someone else's were! That was with ideas, of course, not direct quotes.

Seriously though Daverock thats a great question to ponder and I don't have an answer! What IS an original thought? Has anyone ever had one? Or have we been monkey see monkey do since +2.5mya? Terence McKenna might say that psilocybin mushrooms made our first original thoughts and then we decided on trying to talk to each other about what the f@ck was going on...uh oh,, here comes sharing language, ideas, and information. I dont even know if I've ever had an original thought! I do know that originality even when it seems genuine can be subconsciously influenced by someone else's previous ideas that have been forgotten from conscious thought. What am I even talking about?! Help, I'm trapped in my own existence, are you all even real or is this just a computer simulation of a higher order creature trying to determine where consciousness and life nucleate from soups of inorganic compounds?! Trippy. I think Christopher Nolan made a movie about this and Bill Hicks did a stand up bit? :) Oh well. I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing...dammit, I did it again.

those port chesters. I just don't see how plangent for one show is going to be better than plangent from another as simonrob points out, considering everything else about the recordings are the same. Therefore LMG I also don't understand how your original statement makes any sense. Just sayin' you wrote:

"the 71’ performance included in the 50th American Beauty Release has a different approach to the overall quality performance finished master. their is a technical difference in the mix and mastering."

A technical difference in the mix and mastering is a crystal clear statement that indicates there's something different in how the tapes were produced and engineered that would somehow make the 2/18 show a better sounding show. You stated this is as a fact. When people asked you what that difference was you got very defensive and started to talking about non-technical things, such as Ned being on the recording. And you backed away from anything having to do with the mixing and mastering process.

People are simply asking what the technical difference is you were talking about that would make the American Beauty Port Chester show sound better than the workingman's dead Port Chester show. But now you're making statements in regard to Plangent like "This is another reason why I believe in my opinion, the 18th concert has a different ‘Technical difference’ or whatever the term this forum is using now."

You say "whatever the term the forum is using now?" You know what a technical difference is. You already told us when you said the 2/18 show "has a different approach to the overall quality performance finished master. their is a technical difference in the mix and mastering."

You know what mixing and mastering are, and you know what "technical" means.

But now you're saying it was just an opinion after all, right? You said "But this is just only my opinion folks, to each the own the saying goes. That’s what makes life so beautiful & humility & precious."

That's the "obfuscation" someone wrote about when referring to your method of backtracking any time someone asks you to clarify single source information (you being the single source). This irritates people because you're taking us for a fools ride continuously, and it's offensive. Your postings are much cooler when you're just playing things even and offering musical opinions.

Direwulf - I sometimes wonder where original ideas come from, and why a few people are genius's and most people followers. With ideas, it seems that a lot of us assimilate them from other people, and then very occasionally, someone puts it all together and comes out with something based on the past, but that has not been articulated before. Why a few can do this and most can't I know not.

Even with knowledge gained from within - how much of what we may experience or learn from maybe taking psychedelics , or from meditating, influenced by what other people have written about having done the same things earlier on?

I was reading about Charlie Parker last month, and he seems to have been someone who absorbed the main styles of jazz playing up to the point he was playing, and then took off in a completely different direction, which other people then tried to follow. Maybe Jimi Hendrix was the same. But what was there about Parker and Hendrix that marked them out as avatars in this way?

And, why, more to the point, after playing the guitar for over 40 years, can I still not play Johnny B. Goode without hitting a bum note?!

No idea why I never hear about these things from Dead.net anymore, had they even publicly announced the show? I'm sure everyone already knows this but I hadn't seen the art yet so here it is from somewhere else. Strange that it's whales on the cover, now that's weird, I guess Phil really loves whales. I swear I didn't know ahead of time :)

Hartford Whalers, former NHL team.

DaP 36 was announced on 10/1 through email, I believe the same email that announced AB Angels Share.

Thanks for the heads up on that, I did get the NHL reference, I found it amusing that I cracked a joke about whales a few posts earlier and then BAM! whales on my doorstep! Stupid yes, but I like cheese...it's Bob's fault from the 80s.

Listening party is quite nice. Always loved this song and I know Dave has expressed as much as well. Glad it makes another appearance on a release albeit one of the shorter one it seems like.

Here's a great interview with Bob and McNally from Relix from 2005...I guess we should be asking for "Esau revisited" from Dead and Co. Its definitely time.

This seems like the right place to post this artcle:

I think it's about time to swap out my Keith picture from Venetta. He wasn't featured much on the video so it was hard to get a screenshot. There actually aren't a lot of pictures of him on the internet on the keyboards. I think Donna should release a book the photos. Or an autobiography. I'd love to write her biography. If anyone has her address or phone number let me know. The stories she could tell.

Good day & hello there old friend. I can direct you to her,Management directly Officials telephone number if you truly want to persue having your Questions answered in that manner. But first, right now & more importantly, let’s talk & clear Things up. Your last post about me & which I have copied & posted in quotation marks.
“That's the "obfuscation" someone wrote about when referring to your method of backtracking any time someone asks you to clarify single source information (you being the single source). This irritates people because you're taking us for a fools ride continuously, and it's offensive. Your postings are much cooler when you're just playing things even and offering musical
opinions.”
First, is hat you believe I don’t answer questions or I’m moonwalking away from making certain statements, secondly, my answers irritate all the members & I’m offending them all by taking all of them on a fools ride and finally our thoughts about our friendship.
All I can say is I’m shocked by your post. I believed you & I are friends. I thought you were, I guess your one of those “fools” on a roller coaster ride you write about. It makes me sad to read how you feel about me. I wish you only peace & love. Be safe be kind & have a grateful day. :(

You mistake my intent. I did not throw any barbs at you, I simply diagnosed the situation based on what I've read here from you and from others, in what has become a recurring topic on this message board. I meant it as an intervention. Had my intentions been nefarious, I would not have included the most important message of the post, which you overlooked entirely when you responded to me. I said, "Your postings are much cooler when you're just playing things even and offering musical opinions." That's the truth and a compliment. For every controversial post you submit, you must post 20 that are full of interesting commentary about the Dead.

I normally watch and say nothing when you get questions and doubts about your insider knowledge; but having had similar experiences as some of the others whom you indicate are making up stories about you, I thought hearing it from someone who likes you enough to have provided material assistance during your medical recovery would motivate you to tone back your "insider" rhetoric, which is the root of the controversy. You did indeed make me feel as though I'd been taken on a fool's ride on, which I have no interest in recalling here. Peace.

...Insider antics or lies?! Wow 😳
Ithe last time I was accused of such lies was several months ago About what the next Dave’s picks was going to be and the second Boxset clues. To end all the accusations toward me I even posted the “Release date” when it would be officially released & posted. Then A regular member then posted ,” I guess we will see come October 16th.” Well, it came & gone away without a pep And guess what , it didn’t stop all the accusations of me being a con man. And I knew it wouldn’t and it makes me sad, very sad. I thought we were here to love others not judge them. I didn’t expect all of this to happen by talking together about future releases but you have Reminded me of an important lesson in life, “Loose lips sink ships”. I have only myself to blame. From now on I will do my best to adjust my point of view much clearer for the reader(s) sake.
ask, thank you for your post keithfan! It means a lot to me old friend! I’m grateful for your thoughts & ideas. Have a grateful day everyone, peace be with you all!

LMG – I wonder why you have so much difficulty interacting with others around here. Maybe chill on the "insider" vagaries, and stick to your thoughts about the Dead and their music? That's what you're best at.

Thanks for shooting straight with your response to LMG. I appreciate your candor in calling out the defensiveness of someone who gets too far over their skis.
To quote Marty Balin, “Go ride the music.”
And I’ll close with the Doobie Brothers who told us “Let the music play.”
Keep shooting straight Keithfan. Have a Grateful day.

Your comments to LMG were spot on. It’s hard to assume the guise of an insider when you’re nothing but an observer. Must be tough for LMG to consider being a mere mortal like the rest of us. Thanks for keeping it real Jeff.
Looking forward to 2021 and more great music from the Grateful Dead.
Stay safe and well everyone. Have a Grateful end to 2020. We’ll get through this together.

Listening to Wharf Rat in a Dark Star sandwich. If you haven’t ordered yet, do not hesitate. Best sound of all editions. Especially the little intricacies through out. Phil Get the high res!

I have to say the ‘Casey Jones’, bonus Live track from the 71’ performance included in this release is one of my favorite versions of this song! It’s a little over 7 1/2 minutes long in length. I’ve must of replayed this track over and over again about 900 times so far lol and I believe it will be most welcomed by old & new fans alike. 🙏❤️💀🌹
Have a grateful day & weekend everyone! Peace be with you my brother & sisters! Ciao’ Bella

Just been delivered to me in UK, not via dead.net. I will listen sometime over the weekend. Just got the Joni Mitchell Archives Vol 1 as well so a lot to listen to.
My DaP #36 is in a UPS facility, soon to be handed over to USPS so not out of CA yet.

Question: I pre-ordered the $15 version about a month ago, and it’s just dawned on me that version may not come with a physical CD, and is digital only, it this true?

Yes, the $14.99 gets you a download version. You might have noticed that the CD version is $34.99 why would you expect to get that and a download for less than half the price? I’m sure you’ll enjoy the download.

Following the Hartford Whalers theme and DireWulf's whale theory, the last Pick next year could also be a 2 show 4cd set Greensboro 3/31-4/1/91. After all, when the Whalers left Hartford 20 some years ago, they moved to North Carolina and became the Carolina Hurricanes, and while their home arena in Raleigh was being built, they played at the Greensboro Coliseum for a few years. DAT SBDs from 1991 with Bruce Hornsby, a great Dark Star, an epic Eyes of the World that's already been released as filler on DiP 17, plus how many times did they start Playing in the Band one night, and finish it the next night?

But first. But first, this American Beauty 50th Anniversary edition, which I will have to listen to in mp3 through Amazon until I get the cds, but at least that's an option. Port Chester Dark Star is calling me. Calling me.

So my Curiosity is getting the best of me I know it’s still quite early but which do “you” prefer more ?! the 71 performance included in working mans dead or thee 1971 performance included in American beauty 50th anniversary deluxe version please share your thoughts and opinions and your favorite of the two so far...she’s still so greasy, it may take time for the full effects to kick in!!!
Rock on! 🙏❤️💀🌹

Just wondering if anyone that ordered the Physical release received a shipping notice yet. I ordered the cd and splatter vinyl and nothing yet. My order number is only a 4 digit number, and the website doesn't see it which is different than normal, but I ordered right after the announcement was made.

Thanks for any info
Mike
