I woke up one morning last week because I heard a funny noise. I walked into my kitchen and found my 2.5 year old with the fridge door wide open. He emptied it completely all over the floor, table, and chairs. 12 broken eggs, half gallon of milk, stick of butter rubbed into table and chairs, ect. He even dumped all of the baking soda everywhere. Leftovers, veggies, condiments...Everything opened and poured/squeezed out. A true test of ones patience and love!

I just received my schedule for the 2008 season. Always exciting to see when you will be in your favorite cities, I then received a call from the League EVP/DBO who said he wanted to tell me that I had been selected to work the plate in the NL All-Star game in Winnipeg 7/8. It is a great feeling to be recoginized and appreciated by MGT. Not a common practice in Corp. America

yes,i think youre right. But its not only the net its the wholle vrtual reality created by the media, the moviemakers even advertising.everywhere you see things happening which in reality would kill every bystander.but, modernday technologie doesnt let die nobody so easily.they rush him(with5gunshot wounds,a broken skull and ebola)into the emrgency room.Dr.somehow gives him a good shoot of defibrilator, and the happy sucker is rady to go home.no wonder that many people today think that you can fall down from standing and it will only ruin your haircut.they do not understand that this ruined haircut has to be redone-i,c.of seizures for 30%of the victims-in a funeral home.sad bud true ! The last time I saw someone having a Seisure there were already 3 people helping out, but you would expect that at Earthdance, the time before that was in High School, my friend Tim had them and he was 6' 1" and I am all about 5'4" trying to catch him hurt. Out of our whole group that day I was the only one who tried to break his fall, I had been thru it with him before so I knew what was going on. So it was easy for me to jump in and help.It is a sad time for humanity, comraderie and looking out for your fellow man has fallen by the wayside. I feel it is because of the wonders of the internet. You no longer have to face someone to talk to them, therfore no one understands what is going on in reality, like someone having a seisure, or someone in medical need. You can read all you want but experience is where it is really at.

Well after one and a half years my boyfriend Steven Miller proposed to me Dec. 8 2007 at a Cubensis show with Kofi Baker Band (if you get the chance to see either band DO IT they are grate!) at the Malibu Inn.Anyway....we went to dinner at the Charthouse right on the beach. Steve kept trying to drag me down to the beach for a walk, we were in the midst of STORM WATCH a few light clouds with scattered sprinkles. So needless to say it was cold and windy I wanted no part of walking on the beach that night. Off to the show we went, little did I know that Steve had the ring in his pocket this whole time. We set up our shirts for the band and had our little corner of the place and all during the show Steve was a little jumpy, finally when it was Cubensis's set he asked me to go outside with him, we get to the door and he freaks out, It RAINED he says. I am clueless so I say well we are on storm watch after all, then we walk out to the truck and get in for our imbibement for the moment. When we are done (still sitting in the truck) he turns to me and says. I have been thinking and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I say you have got to be kidding am I really worth all that. He says yes and I can prove it, reaches into his pocket and extends his hand to me with a jewelry box in it. When he opened it I wanted to cry, but trying to be strong I say you really don't mean that, and he says I sure do what is your answer. I say there is no reason to say no! Yes I will marry you! We have set the date for April 26, 2008!. Thank you for reading this I am still excited about it cause I only want to do this once! Steve is the one for me. We met at a Cubensis and Jerry Garcia Band show at 14 Below in Santa Monica, CA. The rest as they say is history or in my case herstory! Have a Grateful Day everyone.

since about 10 years ago i started having epileptic seizures, and having had a lot of them i know how it looks like when somebody else starts..!in fact i was in an office waiting for my turn in a room full of people.beside me was an old man who suddenly startetd turning his eyes and to move strangely.the room was crowded with people but everybody just stared..so i went up to this man because i knew he will fall down.and thet happened within seconds,i just could grab him and lay him down in a secure position.With30 people staring at me.after 15 minutes the ambulance came and to my horror started treating the old guy like a drunkard.i told them he was shaking, had cramps..but no interest, just everybody staring quitely.a few days later i met the officemanager who told me that if i wouldnt have helped this old man and he had fallen down it might have killed him.but since this day i still remember this staring people...why so few humans are willing to help their fellow being in need?

and much success to your new restaurant gig. Wishing you the very best. You must be passionate about food, people and having a good time.Sure it's a lot of work but not when it's a love. Managed to getaway to the north shore with mama marshun in the fall. We were staying on the shores of Maine...all the seafood you can eat...after the second night we asked a guy at the desk where we could get some really good food... he sent us to a wonderful Italian restaurant...kind of off the beaten path. It was packed and it seemed like the folks were mostly the locals and the tourists in the know. The food was delicious and the place was great. Wishing you similar success and that grass roots clientele that grows and grows with many, many friends. Will try to get there if passing by. Hiya folks, this is my first post after a long time of forum browsing and musing...especially regarding the '09 tour...And what better way to say hey to you all than by showing off! How modest of me :) I recorded this last month in my attic during a period of writer's block. I recorded a bunch of Dead tunes in high school, so much in fact that I vowed to quit doing it. But old habits do die hard, and Cassidy was just calling to me that night. I was initially going for an '89 type sound, but the drums ended up sounding more late 70s to me...so forgive me if you're offended by my sonic inaccuracy, hehe. Anyway, enjoy! http://packy.selflessdog.com/packy/Cassidy.mp3 Looking forward to chatting and arguing, learning and sharing, and all that good forum stuff! Packy (This might actually belong in the "me and my band" section, so moderator, move as needed.) --------------------- Shed light. www.packylundholm.com

was today, for my kids. This is worth announcing because, due to depression about me being out of the country, both kids had a major school slump. This year has been MAJOR improvement: Imena had ALL ones and twos, except for a three in mathematics (a 1 in German and English is a major accomplishment) and Callan had all twos and threes, but for a one in history. Here in Germany the grades are 1-6, with one being the best, and 6 failing miserably. YAY! Big pats on the back to both of them, Mama is SOOOO proud! Poor guys been through alot, and SNIFF, sigh, such hard work!!!!! ********************************** It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine

oh no, got some news today, ya know those things she pee's on, well this one reads, well guess........ fu...., shit, gotta be responsible again, no way, heheheheeheh blood results by tom. happy, unhappy, uptown, woooooo, up down all around, guess thats the feel, shit another with my traits, Named my son Michael after Saint Michael, Archangel disperser of Satan and Patron Saint of Paratroops, And the name fits him so well, a little mighty warrior and theme-ster of life. Adventourous and imaginative is he. Creative and always learning, Well cultered and kind. Have some friends that have a boy somewhat challenged, Michael will play with him as well as any, knowing and caring. Is an awesome example of love your brother. Well if a girl? the name may be Jessica, or Mellissa, maybe Althea, or something so classic and relevent to the day.Hope I wasn't sounding to religous earlier, but a name just oota be what it will, Man, Michael is so good there were really no terrible 2's or 3's and he's grumpy like his daddy in the morn, New baby might have horns and come swinging a chain. OH no the anxiety of this, I kinda goof, always told people I'd have a tribe of little dirty faced suntanned tiedye kids runnin around. this brings that much closer. Now if I could stay in the same world for more than a year. holy shit, oh no WTF smiles and smiles, anxiety.

On 09-08-95,9 o'clock pm, the one year twin girls are alreaydy asleep. Marjelaine and me sit down to watch Grateful Dead on PBS (So Far ?). At the end she tell me we have to go to a show ( I saw them twice, her never). The next morning, I tell her that I put on the radio, a thing I never do. First word I knew.01-13-09, 5PM, we buy 2 tickets for Nasseau Coliseum. She has a friend who have a B and B in Harlem. So we will quit Montréal at about 5 in the morning to arrive in NY early afternoon. If somebody of the fraternity can tell us what is the best ( thing fastest) way to go there from 119 st and Lennox to Uniondale, it help us a lot. Share the Love Brothers and Sisters and as we say EN FRANCAIS : Have a Grateful Life!

Hiya Everyone. I have been creating a statue with Stanley Mouse to add to the Jerry Memorial SIte in Fairfax California. The statue will be real cool. Cast in bronze with a life size guitar with Chrome Plated wings that light up like rainbows or fire. Go to www.JerryMemorial.com to see a animated simulation, rendering, artist conception of the statue. I just added the interactive Jerry Garden where you can mouse over flowers to see photos of flowers that are actually growing at the Current Jerry Memorial. Flowers like Scarlet Begonias, China Cat Sunflowers, Sugar Magnolias, Purple Sage, American Beauties. We are having an event / gathering / jam at the Current Jerry Memorial site on Sat June 13th, 2009 during The Fairfax Festival Again www.JerryMemorial.com TELL A FRIEND PLEASE!!!! Peace, Jim Fox
