    I read something on Jambase about The Dead doing a tour in '09. jambase saus its confirmed but with no set dates yets. aunyone hear about this as well?

    NEEED RIDERS FOR BOB WEIR FALL TOUR!!!
    need riders- if need be i can leave from newark after the nov.12 show- i can make ALL stops along the tour route to pick up riders anywhere along the way from the nyc phil shows, or bob newark show to philly to greensboro to the FL shows. i can delay my departure from the nyc area til the late date of nov.17 also, if the right rider(s) present him/her/themselve(s)- i only HAVE to make it to the FL shows starting w/ clearwater on nov.18- i dont have any real burning desire to make it to the bob philly or greensboro shows- i can take em or leave em. i can make any and all stops necessary from nyc area down I-95 all the way to greensboro and on to clearwater- MD,Philly,DE,VA,NC,SC,GA- you get the picture... i even can make pick-ups between the FL shows- make me an offer i cant refuse- gas $$$ is always good but im in need of so many things- and not just material- spiritual, emotional, intellectual- call me and do some bartering- massage, soul medicine, entertaining stories of times past, party favors- all offers will be appreciated. as bob marley says "try me, try me..." please call me 201-406-0810- yes its the same me who was looking for a ride outta frisco to nyc a few months ago- well guess what? i got one, and now im here in nyc ready to head south w/ the birdies for the winter- and thanx bob for arranging your fall tour so it winds up in boca, "nice!" and how bout that nyc philathon! what a nice schedule they laid out 4 me!!! and unlike the me in frisco a few months ago- the east coast me has a super comfy mini van w/ a futon in back- hippie-luxury-liner take the trip- you will have the time of your life, i promise!!! peace-pozitive-bless- andrea

    He posted last week on annoucments and i just said maybe he should post at the shows or bands you shouldn't miss section and.....I think he may have misunderstood. Sorry if I led him down this path.

    Need a ride to the Change Rocks Concert.
    I live in Jersey Shore Pennsylvania and it's about 20 minutes from the venue but I know noone here and getting a ride is tougher than I thought. Anyway if anyone can give a fellow DeadHead a lift it would be much appreciated. I'll cover gas and possibly some of the acoutriments if I can.Thank you VERY much - Jeff

I'm leaving from Raleigh/Durham (work in Raleigh/live in Durham) on July 1 or 2 (haven't decided/flexible). Unfortunately, I'm not coming straight back after shows, so I can only offer a one way ride. Splitting gas would be good. Email me at ed.norman@dhhs.nc.gov.

2 - 18 year old guys (just graduated high school and this road trip is their grad gift) both musicians/enthusiasts looking to rideshare from Los Angeles to Santa Clara or if that won't work they can get transportation there but looking to find camping or rooms to crash in for Saturday and Sunday. I am mom (helping to plan the trip) - Any help I can get would be so appreciated. Both are chill and very respectful...Fingers crossed.

Does anybody know of any farmers or landowners with fields or big backyards letting people pay to camp on their land for the Santa Clara shows? I have been searching the internet, if anybody knows some specific address or roads/crossroads where there will be field camping available please let me know.. Or just somebody willing to let a few of us camp in a backyard. PM me pls or reply... New to the site. Otherwise I guess we'll just sleep in the bushes somewhere :) Cheers and hope everybody has a great show! Thanks, MrB

There are probably more than a few people rolling down the road right now looking for a place to pitch a tent, park a bus, an RV or a car while en route to Chicago. We are on a patch of ground in Nor'western Illinois and have some room if folks need a place to stop for a few or overnight. The gate is open; we don't want anything in return (AKA - free). If there are any takers, we will rent a porta-pot. All we ask is that anyone stopping/staying treat the place with respect. Please let us know. J and T

Thought I'd re-post this one... If you're still on the road and looking for a place to stop along the way (for a few or overnight), a place to pitch a tent, park a bus, an RV or a car while en route to Chicago (we're out in the country, 140 miles northwest of the city). I got a DUI last month and already have my tix for the July 7th Dead and Company show at DTE Energy Music theatre. Not going to be able to drive to the show. It would be me and my girl, we are more then willing to throw down gas money, veggie burritos, etc. Thanks. -Knoxville
