So glad you made it... Welcome to the updated Dead.net! If you've been around for a while, you should find your familiar haunts much as you left them, though some of them may be in slightly different locations.
If you're joining us for the first time, we're delighted to see you! We invite you to just poke around and make yourselves at home.
    A few possibilities:
    -Tape trading (digital and otherwise)
    - In Search Of (tickets! stuff! music! etc.!)
    - The Ride Board (useful touring resource)
    - All About My Band (the one you're playing in)
If you need a bit of navigational assistance, post here or send me (marye) a PM and we'll try to help!

Road Trips on vinyl - Amazon Specials

Hi, can anyone work out how to order the 2 Road Trip vinyl releases from Amazon.com if you are outside the US? Apparently you can only buy them through the Amazon Music App in the US, and to have the App you need a US IP address. Yet they say they can post to the UK. Feels a bit like Catch 22.

Who here is alive today because of the Grateful Dead?

When I first got introduced to the Grateful Dead, I was in an extremely volatile mindset, ready to leave this world. I always loved music but it wasn’t until Let It Grow, where I heard the line “Black dirt live again!” and I don’t know what it was but the music the connection to how I felt like even less than black dirt, ignited some sort of fire in me. I got on the bus and I never looked back. That is why I am posting this because I was just a teenager when listening to them the first time and I have lived to be 51 years of age and I am glad I found the Grateful Dead, they’re literally why I exist today.

    Infrared Roses on Vinyl?

I'm very pleased that almost the entire back catalog and many shows are being released on vinyl.
However, there's still one record missing, and I'm eagerly awaiting it: INFRARED ROSES. The division (I have the CD) into four themes is perfect for a double LP. I hope it comes out soon and hasn't been forgotten.
    Best regards, Matthias

Looking for help getting dead licensing

Hello! This might be a long shot but I’m looking to get in touch with someone in licensing for the dead. I’d like to make a product using some dead imagery. I’ve read that it used to be pretty simple via Grateful Dead productions but is now Rhino ent. and I can’t find anything on their site to submit requests.
I’ve been wanting to make this happen for several years now and I am really excited to share this with all of you!

    Happy Wednesday yall!

Once on show "mark as attended".
If you want them to be listed on your page in chron. order you have to enter them 1 by 1 in that order.
    Good luck and cheers
Edit: BTW your guess on 30 days is way off. Hint; it's later in that iteration of the band.

I wanted to post this in the Websites sub-forum but that one seems to be locked down. I tried to log in to deadnetcentral.com today for the first time in about a year and it looks like the site is down. I guess that was inevitable but does anyone know when it happened? thanx.

RIP Jer, miss you man...

Duppy, from what I can tell, DNC is indeed gone, but many of its residents have a FB group and I think there is a restoration effort in progress.

My love and condolences to all of us out there as Phil passed on yesterday. Heartbreaking and sad.
So many memories of Boxes of Rain and roaring applause for the shy bassist. Good times.
