    This newly available item beautifully reproduces Emek’s fanciful illustration created for the popular Winterland June 1977 box set released in 2009. The giclee depicts that era’s Grateful Dead beneath a skull-and-mirror ball, plus a rather unusual cast of characters in the background; good for intense prolonged viewing!

    Popular artist and graphic designer Emek has been putting his signature touch on rare prints and concert posters since the early 1990s. Dead Heads will recognize his colorful, multi-layered illustrations on the packaging for Winterland 1973: The Complete Recordings and his distinctive Dark Star design on the official poster and t-shirt for The Dead's spring tour.
