Time slips away
This was my first show, there was an awesome set by Santana and before them another band that was local, but you're right about no Airplane. I kind of remember that it took a long time for the Dead to start because there was a problem with the sound system that Owsley was working on.

Funny how time slips away
This was my first Dead show, and I was quite psyched, but I don't think they really got off that night. I remember PigPen being somewhat subdued, hanging out in the back for most of it. I am pretty darn sure the Airplane didn't play that night; I would've remembered that!

Comment deleted due to synapse failure - I think the show I was actually at was later that spring.
