    My First Show
Donna & Bob doing Jack Straw instead of Jerry & Bob. Donna did a beautiful Sunrise. Jerry pointed to his guitar as his voice was out. It got me hooked. Went on to see over a hundred shows.Peace, Ron

    last of the century
had moved from Pa. to san diego, always wanted to see Dead in san Francisco, however had no second thoughts about the Dead in Golden Hall, a premier location , perfect sound and one of the best shows i've ever seen. last dead show until turn of century and began following Ratdog, Phil& Friends in my current location , the sunshine state.

    Garcia more than makes up
I've got an audience tape of this show. It is one of the top5 I reached for (when I still reached for tapes)....it's now since buried in my proverbial 'attic' but, Garcia is explosive on guitar. His jams are full of power. One of the best Jack Straws I've ever heard, and Big River, and a song that usually doesn't move me, takes it to the edge. Jonzing for a digital copy of this show.

Great to see Bobby sing both parts of Jack Straw, moving from one side of the mike to the other for the Jerry/Bobby parts.
