    Last St Stephen at a venue less than 2 miles from my house. I was in the 4th row and this night is still fresh 24 years later...

Deciding not to go on fall tour in 83, meant missing the epic East Coast breakouts of St. Stephen, and we wondered if we'd missed it forever, but the boys rewarded the West Coast faithful this night... Marin Civic was a cool venue, small, but back then the crowds were manageable... my friend Big Beautiful Dave sat on my mandolin in the back of Steve's hearse at this show....
