My buddies John & Mike & I had driven down from Oxford to Cincinnati early that Thursday afternoon, tickets in hand, in eager anticipation of that nights' show. We got there, hung out in the Music Hall parking lot for a bit, then, not knowing what else to do, wandered around the building for a while, ending up at the stage door at the back of the building. We chatted up the guy that was hanging out there providing 'security' - but not a brownie cop or anything, but a longhaired guy, like us, probably with the band.

This was a special night. I was seeing Further with my daughter who was with me in October 1994 at the Garden, which were Jerry's last shows in NYC. I also noted that it is now five decades of seeing the Grateful Dead, or members of the original band in their side bands. The song selection was as good as it gets from my perspective. Dark Star, St. Stephen & The Eleven are the pinnacle for me. I use the Live Dead Album as my icon and use the name St. Steven. If this was my last time, I guess I went out on top. Hoping that Phil remains in good health and Bobby wants to tour.

Bill Kreutzmann, diving on 11-17-2009 near Kona, Hawaii. This image was taken on a Sony EX1 HD Video Camera, in a Gates Underwater Housing. The image is actually a screen grab. Pauline R Heaton CSC www.watervisions.com (My Wife) took the image on a dive trip will Bill and Amy. We were diving with Jack's Diving Locker in Kona, they are the best.... We actually have a clip of Bill playing "Air Drums" underwater..... Who are the Grateful Dead and why are the always following me around...... Willy Bova
