Yeah, Happy Pappy Day
To all the fathers out there. You know who you are and this is your day!

...For all the Dead Head Dads and all the Other Kinds of Ones Too!
------------------------(-------@
Love, Peace and Light for you ALL as you "Celebrate"
the connections of ALL your children and the beauty of lovingkindness
we express with love and caring for them. (Even in difficulties,
stress and absence from them.) A special shout out for all
the Fathers' whose children are away at war and whose Fathers'
are fighting the war, love is real and there are no miles that separate
love...ever. Love is. May those whose Father's have already passed
away be reminded of the good they strived for in their own particular way.
--------------------------------(--------@
May Everyone be reminded that "Making Love" makes this
Holiday what it is. Oh! Happy Day to You ALL!

Happy Hippy Father's Day!
To all the Father's out there, we thank you for being the ones who guide and love us!
As I was a-goin' over Gilgarra mountains
I met Colonel Pepper and his money he was counting
I drew forth my pistol and I rattled my sabre
Saying "stand and deliver, for I am a bold deceiver"
Chorus
Musha ringum duram da
Whack-fall the daddy-o
Whack-fall the daddy-o
There's whiskey in the jar

Milan Fashion Week
okay, my first reaction to this photo was that the dude had been shopping in the parking lot. If not the Ashby Flea Market...
My goodness
marye! What you said and then some-he looks like he's wearing an Easter Egg.**********************************
By trying we can easily learn to endure adversity -- another man's I mean.

The dude looks like...
...Mick Jagger's grandson, Marye. Is that flea market in the BART parking lot?
that's the one!
I used to have some pants that color. They were about as uncomfortable as the ones in that photo look, too.
Happy Birthday Robert Hunter!
Your inspiration keeps me going each and every day!

Thanks starsleeper
Judging by the blistering show and the great family scene at Rochester, this is gonna be a hot summer tour... If you're in the East, now is the time to get out and hear the band. See you at ArtPark!
your welcome krs10
have a nice show! Anyways, I spent Monday night peakin' on top of Bolan Mountain that caps out at 6,242 ft. It's in the Siskiyou National Forest in Oregon a mile and a half from the California line. It has a nice view of the ocean 40 miles to the west, a great view of 14,162 ft. Mt. Shasta 70 miles to the south-east, and Preston Peak dominates a dozen or so miles to the south-west. Had to hike a mile to get to the top, there's a road to the top but the last hundred yards run along a cliff on the north side and was still buried under snowdrifts 10 ft. high and more. There's a nice lake down below with a forest service campground. I didn't see any other tracks in the snow on the way up and the road there had just opened up. If you are ever on the road between Happy Camp, Ca. and O'Brien, OR. be sure to check it out. By Tuesday afternoon we had made it to a beautiful flower-filled meadow on the banks of Hurdy-Gurdy Creek in the Smith River National Recreation Area where we listened to the show. The highlights for me were Reuben and Cherise, New Speedway Boogie, and Lost Sailor, almost thought I'd change my name to starsailor.
Kelly Joe Phelps & Corrine West
Saw these two last month for the first time, very enjoyable, Kelly Joe is an awesome flat -picking guitarist, liked the tattoo of a star on his arm too!

been on the mend,
with the help of a new 'friend'
shaved the shaggy old beard,
cutting back on the drink
with plenty of time to think
life is still weird
but better.
the purpose of this letter
what shall I say?
to those who know and care
I love you all, that is what I want to share

Tour de France 2010
A very high energy sprint to finish the 12th Stage from Sisteron to Bourg -les Valence today. Some head-butts from Renshaw to Farrar ensuring Cavendish the stage win. These riders are really something to watch! I'm pulling for Levi Leipheimer to catch-up with Contador and the yellow jersey on Andy Schleck. I keep looking for CB, cheering the riders on along the side of the road.
side of the road????
not me..I've got the VIP package with the helicopter, the Michelin 3 star lunch, the champagne and the supermodel.
Go Cavendish. Renshaw was a bit naughty today I admit.
Scenery the past few days
..has been incredible. Our TV channel, Versus, has been airing the race with ground and helicopter videos in high-definition: I may have to plan a trip over next year! I do not speak or understand French, so that will be something I'll pursue. Years ago, in and west of Boulder CO, I was a motorcycle escort for the Red Zinger classic....
Can i have the VVVIP package Badger?
The one that includes the Gulfstream jet to and from the airports of my choice and a castle to stay in complete with serfs and wenches?
(GTed: If you know French the French are a lot nicer to you, though they'll still figure a way out to take your money if you don't. I like Rosetta Stone to learn a language w/o strain)
Renshaw tossed
Mark was disqualified from the TdF, after the head butt. Let's see what happens in the Pyrenees
Le Tour
It is a great advertisement for the French landscape (after they leave the 'Hell of the North'). We had a lot of rain in June which has kept the South very green and beautiful this year. Today's stage up to Mende in the Massif Central should be spectacular.
The 2011 route is not announced yet. A lot of people ride the route each year a few days in advance of the real tour: so get training Ted and TL!
It's a fascinating tour this year. Armstrong has been plagued with bad luck and you might forgive him for dropping out...but he is hanging in there to help his team. Cavendish is so talented but everyone hates him, even more so after his aussie sidekick's headbutting antics yesterday. Cav needs a new lead out man now and the other teams are sure to harass him mercilessly now. The real struggle will be Schleck vs Contador in the Pyrenees; there are going to be some real battles up there on the slopes.
Not to be an ass
But I am waiting for the first rider to test positive for EPO.

Elephant Positioning Observer?
I think that just may cause a few riders to get contusions, abrasions, lacerations and whatnot
positive result
I'll be testing positive for IPA in about an hour. (Modus Hoperandi)

Nice one Ted!

made good money... sooooooo.... HOT!
made good money, 5 gees in one day...
heading off to hook up with some old freaks who live in a RED HOUSE...
just keeping moving
cause I can't stand still,
won't let the lightning or the thunder get me no more,
though I hope her sister will

Happy Jerry Week!
Jesus, John Muir, and Jerry Garcia have been the 3 biggest influences in my life. Without Jerry I probably never have learned how to play guitar, and being able to play love songs for God, not the Devil, means a lot. John Muir was my wilderness guru and his writings led me to Mt. Shasta and from there I found the beautiful place I live today. Jesus brought love to my heart and helped me deal with the hell I've had to live with everyday for almost the past 30 years. Without Jesus I may have become so embittered and full of hate that I could have ended up like one of those people who snap like we saw on the news yesterday. God bless you all and happy Jerry week!
And the same to you
Bless you starsleeper!! Words to live by, I daresay.

Is it just me
Or does it seem odd that a new featured product on this site (the Warner vinyl box) doesn't have any way to post comments? New strategy to ward off our constant whining about the music for sale here?
I'd buy it...
...if the vinyl was made from recycled oil from the Gulf of Mexico!
if we're talking about the same link
(the one on the homepage concerning the vinyl) it goes directly to the store item. If you're talking about something else, send me the link and I'll look into it.
Yeah, that's the link
That goes directly to the store. Just felt like we were missing out on weeks of entertaining discussion without a comments section at the bottom of the product description, as we see with most all of the music releases. Given that it's not something new, as such, just repackaged and quite pricy vinyl reissues, maybe that's the reason?

Sugar Smacknolias, headrush looming
Box is empty and I don't care
Saw my lady dig out the last piece
Knew she had fingers that dare
Sweet cereal crumbs under my pillow
We can have sugar highs wearing tye dyed
We can discover the lack of nutrition
Strolling with rushes with time to bide

Sugar Smacknolias
Pouring that milk in
Caught lighting up
Come on out smoking, I'll talk you into buying mine
No worries, I know where we can get some for free

Milk coming out my nose

Smoking doin' wheelies
Tides out, binging, I'll talk you into buying wine
