Each edition will be issued on colored vinyl and limited to 10,000 copies.

Vol: 3 - “Dark Star”/“Born Cross-Eyed” features original artwork by Penabranca aka Bruno Borges. Learn more about his work here. Newly mastered from the analog master tapes, using Plangent Processes for tape restoration. These are mono mixes.

the weve - digital downloads

I've asked this question on multiple boards also,,,, and no answer! Not even a helping hand from fellow Heads who may have already ripped their 45's to a digital file. Does anyone out there know anything about the digital copies!?!?!?!

Pressing error/warping

Hi all, received my copy in decent packaging to the UK but upon opening the record is concavely warped. The dark star side (down warped) just about plays but the other side (inner warped) doesn't. I think it was caused by the extra tight shrink-wrap (it was really difficult to cut open along the opening due to tightness). Wonders if anyone else had the same issue or I'm a one off? Thanks in advance.

cdjapan has an 11/22 release date for the 2 cd SHM deluxe edition of Strange Days. Sadly it's just stereo and mono versions with no live songs from the Matrix. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/WPCR-17943

hi david, cdjapan is where i get my japanese cds to. i just got the first 5 canned heat shm cds all with bonus tracks. awesum sound from a awesum band.i got the 3 cd set of the first doors there to.

I'm still holding out hope for Strange Days which was released 9/25/67. Their first album was released 1/4/67 and the 3 cd deluxe Japanese version wasn't released until May 24th 2017 and the 3 cd plus lp deluxe American version was released in March. It would be great it they release it in time for the holiday season. Hoping for an email from cdjapan soon so I can preorder.

doors 45s

yes they did ,they used sleeves that were issued worldwide and a few u.s. sleeves. as with the dead only a few 45s had tracks that were exclusive to the 45. the dead only have 7 different tracks to use. scorpio 45, 2 songsgolden road,deadnet used the stereo lp version instead of the unique 45 mix dark star ,born crosseyed truckin , with different guitar solo and osamau . the doors had 2, who scared you and dont go no furthur. both of those are on deluxe editions cds so there is NO need for this doors box set.where is the 50th aniversary edition of strange days? mono, stereo and live= 3 cd set. nowhere to be found.a missed chance.

What could have been

Doors have released a box set of all 20 of their 45s all from remastered original analogs and original art. Would have been nice to see it done with this series this way.
