Hi! I'm looking for concert posters from one or more of the following shows:
11/13/1972 (Kansas City)
11/13/78 (Boston)
11/13/87 (Long Beach, CA)I'm not even sure if posters were released for all those dates. The only one I've seen a picture of is the Kansas City show. If anyone has any of these that they are willing to sell, or can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
- maryeJoined:Good luck in your questI went and looked at the Lithuania Strong website (years ago I got the 1992 poster from them, signed by Sarunas) and I'm not seeing any hats. Though the stealie-ish water bottle for this year's Olympics is kinda cool. (I have no connection with these guys, but due to a series of events I happened to be at the Warriors game where Bobby and Mickey presented the check to Sarunas in 1992, and it was memorable...)

In 1995 Gary Fisher introduced a Grateful Dead Tribute Bicycle. I am looking for the Decal/Wrap set. Looking to build a Replica. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if someone has a 20.5 bicycle frame at a reasonable price let me know. THanks
Peace be with you

but does anyone have any info on converse's grateful dead shoe collection? mostly where i can buy them.
i have seen promo photos, of some really amazing low-tops with a dancing bears all over print, but every shoe store i look for on the net, all i am finding is some all black high-tops with with bertha on the side.
did they discontinue the low-tops should i stop my three hour web-surf for these damn shoes? any info would be awesome.

Thanks so much for the link! I wasn't looking for GD Converse shoe because I didn't realize they existed! I checked out the link and found some cool shoes. We're doing back to school shopping for my 14 year old who also loves the Dead. May order shoes for both of us!
Who 'oulda thunk readin' about other people finding stuff could make body feel so good....
Hi folks,
I'm looking for the vendor who sold beautiful coloured tiles with Dead-inspired imagery in the Furthur lot this summer. Saw them in Rochester and came to Lewiston ready to buy but, woes me, they weren't at that show =(
If you know who I'm talking about could you please send me a link or a contact? Would love to decorate our kitchen with a little Dead.
Thanks!
K
On CC for the week would love to meet some deadheads w/420....
Did The Dead release a 85CD Box set? for that summer? There is one up on ebay and want to know if it legit?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
is this it?http://cgi.ebay.com/DEAD-Summer-Getaway-2003-85cd-Box-Set-Lim-Ed-/25068…
If so, and if it's indeed Munck, it's legit. Apparently the license was somewhat short-term so it's not still being made.
Yall better hold onto your hats if you're between Ocracoke Island and Cape Cod this weekend. With that wind, it will be tough to light that match at 4:20
peter, I went back and forth on just nuking that post, but to reiterate, don't go soliciting illegal items on this site. For one thing everyone in the world, including the DEA, can read it. For another, it is not cool here. And being coy doesn't really change anything, as just about every cop I've ever encountered is pretty darn familiar with the term 420, and I bet it's true in Cape Cod too.
I am informed that the reference to 4, rather than 5 CDs in the Store was, um, a typo and has been fixed.
With regard to the person with the missing Disc 2, has that been resolved?
We deadheads have had enough troubles over the years without bringing this kind of stupid attentions to our selves.
you were dancin next to me and smiling at me. You said it was you first show. Would love to get with you. I would love to go to more shows with you. I had a tye-dye on. sound faimiliar. get a hold of me.
Little Kids Rock is a charity that Bob Weir supports - it brings free rock n roll instruments and education to underfunded public schools nationwide.
Grateful Dead artist, Stanley Mouse painted a guitar for a unique charity auction that will furnish thousands of children with free instruments and lessons! Bid on this guitar and many more between Oct. 1 and Oct. 21 to get your hands on one-of-a-kind pieces of rock n roll memorabilia.

Looking to be the Big Man for Halloween, I have looked around to no avail in search of a decent Jerry beard and wig...any suggestions on where I can look online? Or in Northern NJ for that matter...Thanks
Haha, I happen to have exactly the same problem as Candyman_Chris above. Northern NJ as well. I plan on dressing like Jerry circa 1970. The problem is that all the places I've searched either have long, straight hippie style hair or these ridiculous looking afros. Nothing that really looks like Jerry. So, like Chris, I'd appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. Either online or in the Northern NJ area. Thanks.
I've exhausted every source at my disposal in an attempt to find a few items as part of my collection from shows I've attended...
In specific:
A used, but near-mint - mint ticket from Phil's 70th birthday show not to long ago (I had an E-ticket that was lost...)
A New Years' poster from 2010 in mint condition (Furthur).
A ticket from Saturday Furthur from the last 3 day run at Red Rocks.
A (from the sound-board 500 limited release) copy of the LA Forum Dead '09 show w/ Warren Haynes (I got one CD from each show w/ the wristband setup but somehow lost that one as part of my collection).
I have many many many things to trade, including signed work, Ipod Nanos with pre-loaded music and tons of extra posters from the past 5 years.
Please, if you know where I can come across any of these items or know of a good (better) site that is checked more often by DeadHeads for trading purposes...email me.
Dcarter99@aol.com
I'm not sure if they have a reply system setup on here that would notify my email box, so please email me after you respond to this post so I can act on it quickly.
I must fix the voids in my collection !! =)
Cheers,

Looking for copies of downloads I missed this month. Anyone out there wanting to share?
Does anyone know if a live version of "Operator" exists?
Sure, but they only played it four times.
Here's the very first one! Also the first Truckin', Ripple and Brokedown Palace (all acoustic) as a bonus. Enjoy!
The other performance dates for Operator are 9/18/70, 11/7/70 and 11/8/70.
Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

Ok fellow Heads im in need of some help!, I was at the Furthur show last night in Baltimore MD, and i saw 2 seperate people wearing this Brown kinda fuzzy zip up hoodie. It has the bears dancing across the front of it, and a big stealie on the back. I spoke to the one guy and he said he bought it on Shakedown, outside of a show in February, if the seller is on here, or anyone knows where i can get it, please let me know!
Keep On Keepin' On
Check out this site for some pics of some of the ticket stubs of shows you listed that your boyfriend saw. My guess it you could put several of those onto your slideshow.

You might find more pictures or other info on the phillesh website for the other Dead shows you listed.
Check your pm for some additional info.

You could try going to the Eugene Register Guard (Eugenes newspaper) and check past news.I found some cool photos there, even myself in a pic of the Veneta 82 show.

This was a 2 day show, with Dead 1st up on Sat, followed by Allman Bros, then Sun Allman followed by (and with ) Dead. I painted a 4x7 fabric poster of Skull&Roses holdind up pots of gold and rainbow overhead. Threw up on stage to Dead Sat. They used it as a backdrop on Sun, but I never got a photo. Anyone out there have?

Years ago on a now defunct radio station in Baltimore, WHFS, one of the DJ played a tune at this time of year "God Rest You Merry Deadheads" or "Come All You Deadheads". I would love to find a copy of that novelty tune. Never heard it again. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks and Merry Christmas and best wishes for a dream come true New Year.
My first show was ventura july 30 1983. While I had come across some of the shows I had attended back when I was in a position to collect tapes I never came across this show. I've always wonderd if there were any good audience or soundbourd recordings around. Maybe someone knows of a web sight where I can hear my first show.
My first show was ventura july 30 1983. I would like to hear it once before I die. Can anyone direct me to where I might be able to hear it on line for free. I'm homeless. Please help

Hi all,
I've been scouring the internet for a certain GD shirt that I once had in college and has since gone missing (well, not really "missing"...according to my dad, my beloved shirt was retired to dust rag status many years ago. Eeek!). It's got the skeleton, the bear, and the turtle playing baseball, and on the back reads "Steal Your Base". If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know! The only one I've been able to find online is on eBay, for $90.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,

Hey I found a copy of let me sing your blues away/ Here comes sunshine single from 1973 promo copy. I have found copies of it onlineDoes anyone know a good place to find the value of this, or other gd vinyl?
Looking for any original DDN concert handouts, no photo copies please. If you have some you don't want or doubles in your collection I'd appreciate if you contacted me. Thanks!
Really strange request, but does anyone have the box for the above. Mine got really damaged when renovation work was getting done to our house a couple of years ago, although contents were thankfully intact. I know this request is weird but perhaps someone has transferred all the music to digital and doesn't need the box anymore.
I will of course reimburse any expense incurred.
Thanks
John
I know it's a long shot, but is anyone willing to part with their Fillmore Box Set and Bonus Disc for a reasonable price? These knuckleheads on Ebay and Amazon are way out of line. I understand basic economics of supply and demand and I acknowledge that I won't pay $79.95 like the original purchasers, but $750-$2000? Unfortunately, I wasn't on the bus yet, so I missed out and it is the only official release I do not own.
Let me know!
Hello. Please could someone tell me if these are officially licensed merchandise or not please?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230580505731&ssPag…
The plastic is thinner than a real pick and the edges are not rounded but sharp and wobbly with nicks as if they had been cut out after printing by hand, or just badly. I don't believe they actually are picks as described, but just printed-on bits of plastic badly cut into a pick shape. The graphics of the 'Anthem of the Sun' and 'Very Best of' ones are not centred like in the auction photo, but to the side and cropped off on one edge.
Just wanted to make sure they weren't officially licenced before asking for a refund, to avoid accusing anyone unjustly. Thanks.
