Whatever the current version of Furthur is up to, discuss it here!
Looks like Kirkwood to me!
Early snow is great this fall. Carved up the slopes at Loveland and Beaver Crik earlier this week.C'mon Cowgirl, you don't think Phil or Bobby's been skiing before? Tahoe has so much to offer.
I was thinking
Bobby and Phil were more snowboarders ;) Ah you know, I just thought it was wild that they pick CO for a random 3 night run... Unless there is more of a tour on the heels? =) "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
Phil ice skated back in the '90's on tour-don't know about Bobby.....just don't think they've ever skiied, but I'll certainly poke around .......:)))

Leap-frogged over NC
Oh well, to travel or not to travel...

You just KNOW its gonna come true… Still, Furthur is bathing in great success today and the above posts are all right and true. Love to all you grate people peeps graple! smilin' on a cloudy day
Furthur NYE 10 pm est XM Sirius
Tune in 12/31/10, at 9 central, and rock on satellite radio!!! West coasters will be parting at 7?
Hey now, where is everyone these days? LIning up 2011 show plans? We got tix for 3/4 & 3/6 at the Orpheum in Boston. No luck yet on 3/5, but still waiting for word from DS TOO - hope they come through for us! This is the first time I've tried the mail order route. The online presale was totally hopeless. It is unfortunate that the mail order and general online sales aren't timed far enough apart for you to know whether you've scored on one before you try the other.
Just saw for 2011 2 shows in Fla. First one at the new University of Central Florida's Arena. Just opened back in 08 and this a beautiful place to see a show with plenty of parking and lots of room for vending, partying, etc..., just watch out for the campus police, they can be real backward thinking and have a tendency for overreacting. With that in mind, have fun but be safe. Since the band will be skipping North Carolina this spring, I can't think of a better place to be in April, Sun, fun, furthur, definately something better to think about besides all of this snow and cold up here. "Paradise waits....."
Tell me about Mizner Park: it is an outdoor theater? I enjoyed the Miami Bayfront show last year.
Hey Jack, Ted, & Sam!
Jack: Looks like you have three shows coming up in CO, and I'll bet you're going to all of them - enjoy!Ted & Sam: What about the SC show? Just wondering, I would think that would be a nice warm spring venue as well. We've got tickets for 3/4 & 3/6 at the Orpheum in Boston. It's a small venue that sold out quickly. It's a real Brokedown Palace with lots of duct-taped renovations, but it's only 12 miles from our house, so we would love to be able to do all three shows. Still waiting to see if mail order comes through for us (and if it does, we'll have too many tickets - but better than getting shut out!) I'm surprised there isn't more conversation on this site - The Dead in 09 tour generated so much action, I could barely keep up with it after work. And that was just one tour in one season, where it feels like Furthur is taking us further indeed - a lot to be happy about, especially for folks like me, who got on te bus belatedly.
PS: Have you seen any Rhythm Devils?
We went to one of their shows in early Sept at the Hampton Beach Casino (NH) in early Sept, and it was great! Right-up-front forty-dollar tickets in a small-summer venue, too!Would definitely recommend and hope they come back soon.
Hit New Years in SF and next 3 more in Broomfield .. pretty grateful indeed! Have fun at you shows Rosa! Yes I agree that Rhythm Devils are awesome. Saw them twice last summer with Keller, they were A LOT of fun!! "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
is an outdoor facility, alot like the bayfront in Miami, there is absolutely no tailgating at this place and parking will be expensive and iffy. I love south Fla but I will pass on this show, as far as South Carolina, I had a bad experience there and wouldn't set foot in that state for love or money or even free tickets, the cops in this state suck and they will bust you or at least mess with you if you look the least little bit like a head, good luck to any and all going there.
Open Letter To my Dead.netters
Hey boyz and girlz...LOVE YOU....missed you too. Figured I'd just write everything here, because I assume most people check this thread. I've been under some serious pressures lately, Mom is back in the hospital, and honestly when she was out it was like a full time babysitting job. So, I appreciate all the kind vibes from all you from before, she's doing ok, just not there yet. Also, I've been working on projects @ the same time so I've had to put PRIORITIES ahead of being online and talking to my family. I will be getting everything squared away here in the next couple of days, I really just need to sleep and take a breather from the Chaos of what I've been dealing with. So please don't think that I've forgot about prizes and Getting back online/chatting/talking/vining and talking with all you kind folks. Just know that I've been under EXTREME stress with Mom's Disease and dealing with the game called "Life". Thanks for understanding, and I love you my family....ALOT! In fact without some of my close friends and dead.netters (family freinds) I don't think I'd still be sane right now. Love, Canyon Critter ♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥

I'd rather be in some dark hollowWhere the sun don't ever shine Than to be home alone, knowing that you're gone Would cause me to lose my mind "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
Just listened to Friday nights show in Colorado, and they sound great! It's getting better all the time. Thanks for putting it on the road again yet one more time! It's so great that at this point in time new people can still come to a show and get what the experience is all about! Party on, everyone!
We got to hear some of it streaming on GD radio Saturday, great show!Furthur's next show - Boston, 3/4/11!
Summer Berkeley Greek Theater Shows?
It seems like a perfect venue for Furthur I am surpirsed they haven't played there yet. I am praying for a 3 three night run sometime this summer. Broomfield shows were legendary...loved the 1st set Me and My Uncle!
All Good Festival July 14-17!!
Time to start thinking about summer festivals!! Hope there is a Rothbury. "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
I second Gr8fulBrad's emotion: We Canucks are making the trip to Frisco for the Days Between and would LOVE to hear a 3-night run at the Greek Theatre. Pretty please?? (~);)
Sounds like this is gonna be Rothbury this year. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=163399800376166 that might not work but look up the Electric forest.. that is what they are calling it this year.. Maybe see you there.
Incident vs. Phishing?
String Cheese will definitely be playing 2 nights at the "Electric Forest" festival in Rothbury, MI. Not sure about other acts. There are rumours that this is the same weekend as Phish at Watkins' Glen. Ouch.
You all know what I am getting at
I'm talking FURTHUR in the Electric Forest man!! And Rhythm Devils and Widespread and Yonder along with SCI.. oh what a dream that would be "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
First Orpheum show tonight!
Just a few hours till the first Boston show!
Furthur at Binghamton March 29th
To all heads going to this show......I live in this area and would like to inform ALL heads attending. This venue is across the strreet form a police department and jail. 6 UP people.Nothing cool ever happens here & I do not expect much tolernce. I may be wrong. Maybe they want to start having more shows to bring in revenue and will be very tolerant. One can hope, and I have been surprised before. Just thought I would throw it out there.
Shoreline June 3rd and 4th
Just announced... "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
I thought it was a wonderful show! The first couple of songs didn't excite me too much, but from Alabama Getaway on, it was all good. The second set was truly amazing! We went to all three Boston shows, and I was lucky to hear a lot of favorite songs I hadn't hear live before: Alabama Getaway, Crazy Fingers, Help>Slip> Franklin, Morning Dew, Tom Thumb's Blues, Mason's Children, Passenger, and St. Stephen. It does seem like they don't always pay enough attention to what they've played in a certain geographical area before. For example, there was only one song at the 11/19/10 Worcester show that I hadn't seen Furthur do before (China Doll), and it was only my fifth Furthur show. And the 3/5 Ripple encore was nice to hear as always, but that was the encore for the 6/30 Lowell show and the 11/19 Worcester show, so it does become a little less special. So I was really glad to get so many tunes in Boston that I hadn't seen them do before.
Greek Theatre Oct 5 and 6
just saw this on the website, talk about a flashback.
March 12 in NY
Man what a show - A Supplication and a guest appearence from Steve Molitz for an Elevator?? Not to mention the anticapted Here Comes the Sun.. nice, really really nice!! "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
Donna Jean at Jazz Cafe 3/17 then onto weekend at the Tower
listening for the secretsearching for the sound
Best Buy Theatre shows
So did no one tape any of these shows??? Bummer... "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
I echo your comments about the Friday night show. Second set rocked. Glad you enjoyed all three shows. My next taste will be Radio City. I heard Warren Haynes joined the boys for the Second Set last night. Anybody out there have a review. I saw the Allman Brothers Saturday night and Warren absolutely burned the place. It was his night and he was sizzling, especially the first set. However, I never thought he quite meshed during THE DEAD tour a few years ago, so I'm curious if he was able to shine with Furthur. "Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own."
Anyone get reserved seats in the pre-sale?? What an F'ing joke. I was on right when the clock struck 10 (our time) and every single reserved seat was gone, not 10:05 not 10:01, hell not even 10:00:30. Then you check stub hub and ticketnow and wow there's the tickets in some damn scalper's hand already. How do they do that?? Is it an inside job?? WTF??? It's not right it's just absolutely not right. Rant over. "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"
