How did you find that out Ted?

Both were discoverd in Hamburg at Reeperbahn train station.

They had quite a journey, due to my daughter's cleverness. There was a network of kids assisting their flight (from her Warrior Cats forum) and they were in Cologne, Münster, Mönchengladbach, AND ended up being nabbed by the polizei at the train station on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. Right now they are in the home of a friend of mine, arranged by another friend, Anja. Ole (where they are now) was on his way to grab them himself for us, but decided it was better to alert the police, in case the kids screamed (they don't know Ole, and didn't want him nailed by the cops as a pervert, when he was only being kind) The cops made the actual grab, and took them to the station the Reeperbahn, with the scum of Hamburg-where Ole picked them up. They did this journey on 60 euros total and I can barely wait to see her tomorrow and hear the rest of the story. I am so relieved that she is safe, that I am not angry-YET, and yes in a weird way I am proud of her adventurous spirit-we know know that it was Sam's idea and urging that the run, but once they did, she was in charge.********************************** I am not young enough to know everything. Johnman's son, Johnny, revealed on Facebook on December 3, 2021 that our friend and mentor Johnman is not long for this world. Join me in sending grateful thoughts and positive vibes to the man that many of us have never met. God bless you Johnman and best wishes to your son, family and friends.
Update: John did pass away on 12/5/2021. A memorial is planned in January 2022

My brother Phil is a deadhead from way back -- made it to 95% of all dead shows from '87 to '90 and most of the west coast shows until Jerry passed in '95 (over 200 shows). Some of you might even know him. He's currently fighting for his life with stage 4 cancer and he could use your good vibes.

i tried to go to the shows in las vegas but had a mental breakdown on the way and had to come back to the mental hospital could really use some friends to chat with...i'm gonna be here awhile!

to the UNMC for blood work for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. They diagnosed him with this in November of 2023 and had some success with chemo, until this cancer mutated around that treatment. Scott is the best of us, humble, kind, curious, and genuine. Hope to get the cancer subdued enough to proceed to a stem cell transplant in a couple weeks. Please send healing thoughts, prayers, and good vibes this way.

Scott was recently hospitalized and then provided with intense chemo for four days to kill his leukemic bone marrow. And then eleven days ago (the eleven?) the specialists completed a stem cell transplant.

The oncologist indicated that it would take from 6 to 14 days for the new stem cells to adjust and take over the essential function(s). And Scott just called me to report blood levels have started to stabilize. Most of last year he required blood transfusions at least every two days if not every day to survive. Now his hemacrit, red, and white cells are all close to normal. Platelets still low but looks like this treatment has taken. Bobby used to sing "I need a miracle every day" and looks like today it was Scott's turn on a miracle.

As Phil always gave his 'donor rap' at the end of each show, I want to thank that anonymous donor who provided Scott with his stem cells. Sure this donor had a loved one touched by this cancer and got tested (as did I, but not a good enough match) so he was in the 'bank.' The doctors treated that donor with some meds to supercharge his stem cells so these could be harvested and then sent (across the pond, it sounds like) to save Scott's life.

We have a ways to go, with more isolation in the hospital and then Scott must live within a 10 minute drive from the hospital in case of 'host rejection' by his new cells as they transmorgify his immunity system. But things are looking up here in the middle of America.

Appreciate all the kind words, healing vibes, and hopeful thoughts sent my brother's way.
