Killer Deal,
I was 3rd row center for most of the second set, The Other One was "out of this world"Let's hear it for Garden State Dead!!!!
Peace on Earth thru cultivation of massive JurassicBlueberries,"Thank you Jerry" Smile, Smile, Smile ^^^;-)
Housemates first show!!!
I remember handing my housemate Chris ( from the University of Rhode Island ----- Go "High Noon") one of the three hits of acid we had in the bathroom of the Meadowlands bathroom and heading out into the crowd for another:interesting night of music, hackysack playing, and overall laughter and total enjoyment (general manic hysteria, actually).
I drove there with some other friends (Stacie, Karen, and Maria).
Glad I checked the oil before, I put in ONE GALLON, not one quart!!!

Solid MF'n show. From
Solid MF'n show. From Mississippi Half-Step to Jack Straw, to Cumberland Blues to the really great Deal (I totally remember this Deal - I've looked for Deals to be this great ever since - doesn't always happen), to the entire 2nd set & encore this show is dead on. This one was "worth the trip".

-There'll never be another Jerry
The Sheraton / To Melt-me Down/ Ballad of a Thin Man
Cub,Just what the parking lots needed up there, finally someone built a hotel with-in sight of the Brendan Barn arena.
We were spending this whole show danc'in around the circular (uncarpeted) hall, located @nose-bleed 101, behind the Last-Possible Row of seats. This is where all of the 3 for 2 ticket-stubs gang would end up.
I remember pausing when the reflected white light from a single spot was resembling a strobe of lighting bolts coming off the stage from the reflections of Jerry's guitar strings during To Lay Me Down. And then All watching Bob belt-out an electrifying version of Bob Dylan's "Ballad of a Thin Man". Track 7 Grateful Dead's 2002 HDCD audio release of "PostCards of the Hanging".
Thank-you for another Real Good Time.

something is happening and you dont know what it is
last night of a three stand in the bowels of new jersey. Being from Long Island I would rather travel 500 miles to see a show then go to the meadowlands. I gave in and went this night. Enjoyed the show glad I made the trek to NJ. Typical bad karma though I was greeted with a flat tire after the show...
