Week of June 3, 2002
From the intro to this program: "This week I'd like you to meet a musician who recorded and toured with the Grateful Dead from 1970 to 1975 and then disappeared from the scene for more than 25 years. His name is Ned Lagin, and he is the creator of the album Seastones (released in April 1975 on the Dead's Round Records (RX 106); reissued in an expanded edition in 1991 (Rykodisc RCD 40193)), which featured Phil Lesh, Jerry Garcia, David Crosby, and Grace Slick. Ned appeared on my KPFA fund-raising marathon on February 3, 2001, with a recording of a jam that took place on his biurthday, March 17, 1975. This radio appearance led to a longer interview, which appeared as a new chapter in the revised edition of my book Conversations with the Dead, published in April 2002 by Da Capo Press."

I've posted a transcript of the original 2/3/2001 KPFA interview at at https://www.gdhour.com/transcripts/lagin.010203.html
I spoke with Ned a couple of months ago. He's been working on an remix of Seastones and a couple of other musical adventures. I told him I'm ready to put him on the air again as soon as he's ready with any or all of these works.
