The best and longest
The best and longest Terrapin Station I've seen.
2nd to last Lazy Lightning.
Highlights include a long trippy bird song, Followed by a great Lazy lightning, little did I know at the time it would be my last. Terrapin made a great 2nd set opener.
Iko set the tone
Real fun show. Solid opening set, Terrpin killed and the jam out of "just wanna make love" was smoking. At one point Phil grabbed the horns and had the band chasing his bass line all over the stage.
Miracle was OK, but didn't really fit, but the rest of the night was a party
should add...best
should add...best Lightning/sup I ever heard which pumped Jerry into a wild Deal
Freak Show
Since this was the closest I thought i'd get to a Halloween Show, my roommate and I decided to break out the skeleton makeup early. With painted faces, neck and hands, we sprayed our hair white, dressed in tux and long black dress and finished it off with a top hat and ring of red roses. It had to be one of the best times of our lives watching people freak out when they realized it wasn't a mask. Priceless. Oh, and supplication was killer.
My first show...
Junior year of college, the bus came by and I got on...
Very fond memories of this show, but the only thing I can really remember was being blown away by the climactic power chords in Terrapin!
really nice fans

My 1st show also
Came up from Buffalo without tix & hung out at a 7-11 right off the highway exit near the Centrum. Scored some seats in about 15 minutes!!
Iko & Terrapin definitely the hilites. I most remember being all over the place inside that arena. Noob had the absolute funnest time ever to say the least.
my first show!
I was 16 years old, had heard only American Beauty and Terrapin Station (they obliged by playing songs from both). I remember going into the Centrum, in the concourse that surrounded the seated area there was a circle of people, sitting down giving a massage to the person in front of them, and getting a massage from the person behind them. I'm not sure if it made it all the way around the venue or not. This was the only show I remember this happening at. When the show ended, all I could think about was coming back for more.
Closest seats for me ever
I ordered from GDTS for all the shows that tour, and they awarded me with 2nd row at the Centrum for this show. My friends that I drove there with from UMass were just a couple rows back. I brought my Canon camera, and three types of film, not knowing what would work best in that lighting. Luckily, I was right in front of Jerry, and of course, he looked at me during the show, or so I thought! I got many great shots of the whole band. It was also at this show that I realized how the sound system worked with mics directly in front of the Dead's amps. I was so close I was hearing the show from the Dead's amps and not from the larger speakers above and surrounding the stage. For some reason, the militant security guards let us hang around in the floor seats for a long time after the show, it was a nice way to wind down after such an exciting show. I got some cool photos of my friends and other Heads as the lights came on and the crowd thinned out.
