I Think I had the same one. Did it have mushrooms in the front and red colored? I have an old picture of me wearing it. If I can find pic I will send it. Unfortunately mine eroded away with time. This was back in 1989 I think. I thought you might at least want some kind of reply. Peace.

I am looking for a Grateful Dead collector interested in giving a good new home to 8 X 10 black and white candid photo of Jerry Garcia walking while strumming a banjo at a 1970s blue grass festival in North Carolina. Photo was taken by a photographer friend and is matted on 11 x 14 mat board. Thank you.
- jmarkitellJoined:Looking For Pictures Jerry's Black Limo VanJerry designed a b;ack Dodge Limo/Van that he used for his west coast events at the end of his time. I'm looking for any photos, stories...anything that pertains to Jerry and his limo. It was tied up in his estate and eventually was given to his limo driver, Leon. Legal fees caused him to sell the limo and it has been seldom seen since. Any help is appreciated!
- themightym09Joined:October 23 show ticketsHello, I am looking for old ticket stubs from the 7 shows the Dead played on October 23rd. I've been lucky enough to find 2 out of the 7 shows. I can't help but wonder if it will still run on Windows with all of the updates since I originally purchased it. Let me know your thoughts and I'll try to dig it up.

A Gate Crashers Suck Tee-Shirt?
as for me i was a little young for the scene and I was watching the '95 end of the road Dvd, when that guy Russ was selling stickers and Tee-Shirts that said "Gate Crashers Suck" on the front and " Thanks For Ruining Our Scene" on back... If anyone has any idea on where to find one via website, store, anything like that please let me know, I am in desperate search of one.
Looking for info on this P1010013.jpg
Value, rarity, where to find more info, etc.
no problem, this is close enough to the right topic!
Are you in Portland?
I lean to the theory that the next time Antiques Roadshow comes through town you should score a ticket and bring this thing. Then we'd ALL know!
I think the dude with the aloha shirts and the ponytail (aha, here's his Web page: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/roadshow/series/appraisers/s-z/sohmers.html) would have a pretty good idea what the deal was. I used to know who the experts in SF were, but my knowledge is very out of date. You might want to email ol' ponytaildude about the thing and see what he says.
Then come back and tell us!
Any for sale in the dead.net store? Already have DP 13, 14, 29, 32, 34, 35 & 36 but looking for some live acoustic recordings if there are any on CD.
Thanks,
Mike D
DP8 has an acoustic set and there is reckoning also

I am looking for music by this band called Pranava. I was given a demo tape at a west coast dead show in the year of who knows when. It was mostly instrumental, but there were some words as well. I do remember a song called comes around here. The words were some thing like" it goes around again and up and down again and barely comes around here" or something like that. awesome instrumentals. I lost my mind a couple of times listening to that tape and then I lost the tape. Does it sound familiar to anyone? I would love to know.
yeah, I gather the name has religious significance in a tradition with which I'm not too familiar, but there they were a bit down the page in the search. Tell us more about the band when the dust settles!
Ahoy,Can anyone please help me find a copy in good shape of the Deadheads Taping Compendium no.2?
Please let me know the price that you ask.
If possible an estimate of the postage in the U.S. (if you happen to live there, off course). Otherwise the book has to be sent to The Netherlands, where I live.
I already own no. 1, which I enjoy very much. The episodes of the early history of the band and of the acid tests are excellent. I also use the book to read about the shows that I have and the ones that can be downloaded from the internet.
I borrowed no.2 from a friend but he does not want to part with it and copying the entire book is just too much. I also looked in 2nd hand bookshops but the Grateful Dead are not very popular here so I can't find a copy here.
So if you want to part with a book that you have but don't use anymore you can do me a great favor.
"Ship of Fools"
I found mine on Amazon.com used (had several to chose from) and it wasn't too pricey. Good luck!
Check out Hippieshop.com they have lots of pendants to choose from $10 to $1000! Have fun shopping :)
I recently found a mint condition set of vinyl recordings of the Dead Live at Gizah. It is a 3 album set of all three days 9/14 915/ and 9/16, 1978. They have never been played and comes in the original box with the original sticker and the original program from the show. What is something like that worth???
How about asking if anyone remembers something being confiscated, ask what it was and giving it back to them? For free of course.
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

at one show I was right up front and when Bobby got all excited like he does I got showered in spittle. So I scraped some into a an empty Monster Munch packet I had in my pocket and kept it. Do you think anyone out there would like to buy it?
I would like to apologise for the crassness of my previous post. Having re read it carefully and thought about it a lot I realise now after some calm reflection that it was not sufficiently crass to express the sense of outrage I intended. I promise to try harder next time.
btw Marye, I can provide a 'Genuine Certificate of Authenticity' for an extra 10 bucks!
I'd like to applaud Hal R for taking the moral high ground here, but I'd like to see it go a half-step furthur.
Let's say the rightful owner of the stickers could be found. Then let's say Steph puts the stickers up for bid on a storefront for, oh, I don't know, a month. Then at the end of the month, Steph "confiscates" the amount of the winning bid from her father, and returns that and the stickers to the rightful owner. Tut Zut!
Whaddaya say? Wanna be known as Even Saint Steph(en)?
Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.
Hard to say. No sign of Steph over on Shakedown Street yet.
Regarding ownership authentication, all we know so far is stickers and Hartford. What isn't known yet is year of show, design on stickers, and approximate number of stickers. Those are things that whoever had them confiscated would probably know. Anybody who thinks that these things might belong to them could consider PMing Steph with that info. Likewise, Steph might consider keeping those details private, for now.
And if it is just some kind of prank, I guess eventually we'll all be let in on the joke. Otherwise, there's not much of a point to it, is there?

Did you know that Pranava in Sanskrit means "humming,Literally. I have never heard of them good luck!!
the stickers are of steal your face, shakedown and a larger one of jerry dated 83 and a partial roll of worchester oct 8&9 from 84.
also are window stickers of shakedown and a one eyed skull with roses and a bone.
pop was a security guard there by the way and he confiscated stuff at other shows too....
he also gave me about 6-8 tapes as well.
not a joke folks, if any one interested i will scan them into the computer.

Apparently, this is no longer available for purchase, but I would love to get my hands on that last show in Atlanta. If somebody has it and doesn't mind burning it for me, I'll gladly pay for postage etc., and make a donation in the amount of the CD to a Grateful Dead charity. I would buy it from the band if I could, and not looking for a freebee - just no other way for me to get it. Thanks.

I am looking for a recording of this show - best JGB show I ever saw, no question. Would gladly trade whatever in return. if you have this, please get in touch at 08erw@williams.edu. Thanks!
Ripple, Standing on the Moon, Throwing Stones, hell in a bucket... Looking for base sheet music. Oh please oh please>>> Any help out there?
I recall a flag at a show once, or it may have been a poster. It was the image of a Minuteman holding a replica of Jerry's guitar. Does anyone else remember this? My first show was 83 but I don't think I saw that one until later on. I would really like to find a poster or something that I can use for an image design, Thanks in advance everyone or anyone . . . . .
Anyone know how to get an OBAMA DEAD T like the one they are wearing @ their Warfield show?

George
I wouldn't mind having a DeadHeads For Obama sticker for the above-named vehicle if y'all know where I can get one.
Hey Hez':
This was out in 1985 or 1986 and was for the 20th anniversary. I had this poster in my dorm room as a college frosh. I have photo with the poster in the background - but it is not good enough to copy image.
Hez'
Look under the 1985 Archives for "20 years So Far Flyer" under the clippings - it is a cool image which you can definitely use.
If anyone knows if or when dead/obama shirts will be available let me know:jopado@yahoo.com

i was fortunate enough to get chosen to build a float for the mardi gras parade in 1990 at the coliseum. would love to find some photos documenting the event. my float was a replica of the berlin wall... we threw off the cardboard blocks as we moved through the crowd. would love to see what it looked like from another perspective!

I'm interested in finding some of the fun parody t-shirts that used to pop up in the lot (for example: Morning Dew in the style of the Mountain Dew Logo, etc.). Anyone have any ideas? There are a few on ebay, but I feel like there have to be more out there for sale on the internets.
