I'll believe it when I see it. If you google "winterland," "1973," "rhino" and "grateful dead" or some combination thereof, you find some interesting postings, many going back to the spring of 2006 when someone found a backdoor into dead.net and supposedly saw something about a soon to be released Winterland '73 box set. Someone copied what they "found" and it looks just like the Fillmore West 1969 box set. It all could be a hoax.

Looks like one of our vines may become redundant soon. Someone on Eurotraders noticed this on the Spin CD website in the UK Grateful Dead - ' 'Winterland 1973: The Complete Recordings' (9 CD) We've just seen this as a UK release on a Rhino schedule for May 5th. More news when we have it.

2 new vines in the works
The first one will be more fall '73. I have nice copies of a few shows (12/8, 12/12, 12/18 and I believe 9/11) and Richard has hooked me up with 9/26. Someone requested October '73 but the couple shows I received from "that guy" from that month just aren't up to snuff sound quality wise. I refuse to put less than stellar discs into circulation, especially when A SBDs are known to exist. I want to keep this vine a little smaller, maybe 3 shows, with 9/26 being one of them. Does anyone have an opinion as to which other 2 shows they'd like (choices above)? The other vine will be either a May 77 or Fall 77 revisited vine. I have nice copies of 5/28 (this show is a MUST have), 10/6 and 10/28. I need someone to help me out here. If we go with May, I'd like to include 5/4 and 5/17 (both shows I have, with the former being less than stellar sound quality wise and the latter having gaps). Anyone want to contribute A SBDs of these shows? If we go with the Fall, I'd like to include either 10/12, 10/15, 11/4 or 11/6. I have 11/4 but with gaps and some sound problems, at least at the beginning. Anyone want to contribute one or more of these shows? Opinions welcome.

The Last Grateful Dead ConcertSoldier Field, Chicago 7/9/95 2 SHN data discs and 2 WAV audio discs, to make it easy. Very clean soundboard with lots of late era songs in the setlist. The last song Jerry ever sang in public was "Black Muddy River"- very poignant. Some people have been asking about this one over in the Taper's Topic, so here it is... folks, let's just say the editing tools are not too well suited for sweeping out large chunks of obsolete content here, so rather than waste long and hair-tearing hours doing so, I'm just going to freeze this topic and launch New Vines 2. Url coming momentarily.

Hi Mary! The link for where to post doesn't work for me, says not authorized, so I am posting here for your approval. As far as I can tell, none of these shows have been officially released in anywhere close to their entirety ( a few tracks here and there have been released). Let me know if there are any issues.

Here is a flash drive filled with 14 FLAC Hunter's Trix! Most are recent releases. The shows included are:
7/1/73
6/21/76
6/22/76
6/28/76
6/29/76
11/1/79
11/2/79
3/10/81
8/6/82
9/18/82
10/15/84
6/22/85
9/15/85
2/14/86
