That spirit shines through the folks here like the golden rays of the sun on a beautiful day at a grateful dead concert in the park.I think the The Golden Spirit Award goes to the many here that make this place a home. After nearly two years of regularly giving them a hard time I think its about time I nominated the mysterious 'powers that be' for an award. The long promised 'tidal wave' of releases has now really arrived (entire '77 and '68 shows in the last month!), the adoption of the Pure Jerry catalogue is a stroke of genius, the addition of the new search and filter tools on the site is a great improvement, the continued tolerance of the vineyard is most welcome and the advance coverage of the Dead tour has been very imaginative. The only flies in the ointment are the bizarre postage charges for store orders outside the US, but I hope that this award will encourage them to sort that one once and for all. So step up 'Powers That Be' to receive your deserved award (you can wear disguises if you want to continue to be mysterious)
