My two loves come together at last - two sides of the improvisational coin, both funky and loose, meant for dancing yer bones. Saw this print at the Unbroken Chain GDead symposium, UMass, Nov 2007 and fell in love.

Too cool!!
Is that awesome or what!!??? LOL My dad wasn't into the Dead, but way back in the day, he was a Pfunk fan. That is where I picked up my love for the band. I'm watching to see when George Clinton is going to be at the House of Blues in Atlantic City. Sure to be an AWESOME time!!! Turn this mother out!! The mothership has landed!!
where da funky funk from?
Oh yes, brothas and sistas...oh yes
Dr. Funkenstein himself asks you all to remember The Brides of Funkenstein, The Horny Horns, Mr. Wiggles, and even Bootzilla himself
The very Funkateers that made this One Nation Under A Groove.
Those very funkateers that put the shake in Shakedown Street and the quake in SF.
Let's get this tour funked up!
Comments!!!
Wow, thanks for the comments!
You mean I AM NOT ALONE????!!! Groovy =)
I'm a big PFunk fan and my only regret this summer is that I can't go to both Rothbury AND the Vibes - The Dead and a million other great bands at the JJ Ranch, but PFUNK (and CSN) at the Gathering. Ugh... my life is blessed with so much choice and opportunity.
Saw the Dead at MSG - after predicting songs and making insane wishlists my only request at the end of the day was that they really gave us something to get down and get our groove on. And boy did they deliver! That was one hell of a dancing show. That's one thing I've always loved about the GDead - everybody gettin down!
Thanks for the Funky LOVE! See you all at Rothbury!
Love, K
