    GD Cassettes to a good Home

    Hello, I am posting this here and on the Tapers area also.
    My good buddy and Grateful Dead fan (Jerry) passed away in February. He turned me on to all things GD. I am helping his wife dispense with the cassettes Jerry collected over the last 40-50 years, estimated at appx. 500. This collection is in Charlotte, NC and available to any Deadhead who would enjoy and take as good care of them as Jerry did. If you are seriously interested, let me know. (400 in wall rack + 100 on a shelf). Most are GD, -some Hot Tuna, Airplane mixed in. Hopefully folks can reply and I will see it. Thanks Rick. I have pics of the collection to share if that helps. I'll check back here for interest.

    Only The Strange Remain studio demo

    I have most of a version of this on a cassette which has seen better days. NOT the cover band, not the Mickey version. Clever, ascerbic Jerry vocals. "Not just your run-of-the-mill weird..." Does anyone have any information about this demo? My very old boom box tried to eat the cassette... I ought to find someplace that does digital transfers and see if any of it can be salvaged. Incomplete version, but it's really interesting. To me, anyway.

    Looking for posters

    Hi! I'm looking for concert posters from one or more of the following shows:
    11/13/1972 (Kansas City)
    11/13/78 (Boston)
    11/13/87 (Long Beach, CA)

    I'm not even sure if posters were released for all those dates. The only one I've seen a picture of is the Kansas City show. If anyone has any of these that they are willing to sell, or can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

    I went and looked at the Lithuania Strong website (years ago I got the 1992 poster from them, signed by Sarunas) and I'm not seeing any hats. Though the stealie-ish water bottle for this year's Olympics is kinda cool. (I have no connection with these guys, but due to a series of events I happened to be at the Warriors game where Bobby and Mickey presented the check to Sarunas in 1992, and it was memorable...)

    In 1995 Gary Fisher introduced a Grateful Dead Tribute Bicycle. I am looking for the Decal/Wrap set. Looking to build a Replica. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if someone has a 20.5 bicycle frame at a reasonable price let me know. THanks

I have written an article about Jerry Garcia for a popular "new age" magazine, and am looking for non-professional photographs of Jerry Garcia for inclusion with the piece. Since there is no budget for photos, financial compensation is not possible. However, the photographer WILL get credit, with the name printed along the side of the photo. Hey Heads!!! I trying to get a Jerry portrait tattooed on my leg and need a good quality picture of his face......anyone got a copy of the Earth Day poster May 20, 1990 its Jerry Garcia Band.......anyone know where to get a copy????? I'm looking to trade a Sunday 4/19 for a Sat 4/18. Can anyone help? I don't know where the Sunday night seat is but it cost ~$150 and with all the outrageous service charges totaled almost $200 if this helps anyone get an idea of where it would be. Frankie

any body know where i can find deadhead checks ...iv looked all over the web but maybe i just dont know where to go ..and maybe someone can answer this for me ...can i send in a picture of a stealie to have them make personalized checks or is that against some copyright laws?

I've got a great property that can accomodate (tent) campers that would be coming to town for the Philly shows weekend. Located in a suburb, just north of the city, and literally right off an exit of I-95, Route 1 and the Pa. Turnpike - all direct routes from the NJ Meadowlands to the Philly Spectrum. Trying to camp anywhere around the arena is not feasible, so why not play it safe and camp at my place? Was not able to go to the merchandise booth inside the venue, did they have 2009 tour stickers? Or any stickers? If so would someone pick me up one? Hey everyone...saw a great shirt in the lot before the Hartford show, but didn't grab it while I saw it. It was a stealie with the white bolt and blue and red sides made up of all song titles in each color. Anyone with any info on this one? Been searching the usual spots, but can't seem to find it. Any help would be great...I'd even settle for a link to a jpg of the image to make my own...thanks!-S :D

Hi - I am looking for Symmetria T-shirts in good condition. These shirts were around in the early to mid 80s. They were known for their spiderweb tie-dye and excellent designs. The one I bought had was green and had a skull with an eagle on it. I would love to get one again. I would pay a premium if you can help. Thanks!

when i was about 14 i got my first dead shirt. i bought it off a kid from school that had no clue what the grateful dead was. anyway i have missplaced this shirt over the years. imho it was the best shirts ever. the shirt was set in a cornfield and it had a plane flayin overhead with a banner the read "Rise and Fall Tour" and in the field ther was a dancin bear on a tractor and black crows on a wooden fence. there was even a syf on one of the pieces of corn. it was so detailed with everything dead. i LOVED THAT SHIRT. i have been looking allover the internet for that shirt and cant find anything! if anyone knows what im talking about and knows where i can get this shirt please HELP ME!!!!!!

When I purchased the downloads to the shows I attended, I had hoped that there would be CD sleeves with the song lists to download for those of us who like to burn music to CD (from FLAC files, of course). However, no jpg's or pdf's were in the collection of files. Is there any place I can get something like this, or do I have to wait for one of the CD cover sites to add it to their collections?

I really am considering going to the May 9th, LA show, but have no car right now, so here's the deal.... Saw a blue shirt with yellow print of a SYF with Jerry blowing over the spectrum on the front - tried all weekend to track one down but couldnt find it - would love to buy one now. Also saw a Phil Lesh (Phillies) shirt floating around but not for sale - would love a shirt to remember the final Spectrum show (which was better than the 95 Spectrum run imo) Any leads? Peace, Bart

Looking for some grateful dead fonts or anything that can pass for the style of lettering on skull & roses. Google search mostly turned up DogDays Choice but that appears to be down/dead/gone.

Hi, I'm looking for a t shirt that was being sold in the parking lot at the Gorge show on Saturday 5/16. It was a very colorful tie dye & had all 3 bands names on the back. I saw it after I was already inside & couldn't find anyone selling it after the show. Please help!! Thanks!
